362 sites over the kingdom, 9.75 Billion SAR.
34 sites distributed over Jeddah (Area C - Sector C3), 12 sites in-charge (62, 794 m² built-up area).
• Technical Information:
Mechanical Systems included in the sites,
Sewage, Water Supply, Fire-Fighting, HVAC, RO Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant.
• Duties:
1- Approvals coordination for materials and shop drawings.
2- Inspection of Contractors work and quality of works completed.
3- Verify technical specifications with work procedure and implementation.
4- Monitoring the BOQ compared to actual quantities implemented.
5- Comply Quality Assurance/Control regulations, including using of designated reports, follow Flow Charts, Filing … etc.
6- Dealing with paper works (Technical Approvals, Request for Inspection, Accomplishment Report ... etc.).
7- Attend weekly meeting with contractor regarding progress of works.
8- Attend internal weekly meeting to coordinate all the works and discuss progress of works.
• Duties:
1- Coordination of work technically between engineering team, so that all the installations are carried out in compliance with contract drawings, technical specifications and documents.
2- Coordinates the execution of change orders between different parties.
3- To prepare work reports to be submitted to client.
4- Arranging MEP weekly meetings to discuss the site execution issues related to quality, progress and safety.
5- Monitoring subcontractors’ performance and site report to ensure they meet Project Schedule.
6- Highlight problems and coordinates its solution through different departments.
7- Reviews and submits claims for extra time/cost imposed on the project according to the contract.
8- Monitors project risks and manage contingency plans execution.
9- Monitors and assist MEP Procurement activity to meet with the project requirements.
10- Coordinates with Consultant regarding approvals of materials and drawings submittals.
11- Supervises & evaluates draftsmen to support shop drawings creation.
12- Manages the distribution of drawings and changes to subcontractors and related staff on site.
13- Reviews sub-contractor’s design and drawings.
14- Supports other departments with needed technical information for proper project execution.
• Site Engineer (Temporary):
1- Al-Mekhwah General Hospital (200 Bed), Al-Mekhwah, Southern Province, Saudi Arabia.
Systems included: Water Supply System, Sewage System, HVAC (Chillers, Air Handling Units, Packaged Air Conditioning Units, Ventilation Fans and Steam Humidifiers), Fire Fighting System (with FM200 Clean Agent System), STP, RO Plant and BMS.
2- Colleges of Art & Science for Girls, Mahayel Aseer, Southern Province, Saudi Arabia.
Systems included: Water Supply System, Sewage System, HVAC (Packaged Air Conditioning Units, Ventilation Fans, Cassette Units and Wall-mounted AC Split Unit) and Fire Fighting System (with FM200 Clean Agent System).
• Duties:
1- Follow-up all the remaining works on site.
2- Finish the approvals related to mechanical items including Drawings, Materials used and Technical Calculation.
3- Request the materials for all the systems as per approved materials.
4- Coordinates the mechanical works with other engineers (Civil, Architecture & Electrical).
5- Distribution of workers to finish urgent areas so that other engineers will not be delayed.
1 - Monitoring the actual site conditions to comply the design requirements.
2- Preparing a shop drawing that have either ducting layout or piping layout & dealing with reflected ceiling plans.
3- Planning a Schedule with manpower requirements.
4- Computing a BOQ required to finish a certain area.
5- Dealing with paper works (Technical Approvals, Request for Inspection, Accomplishment Report ... etc.).
6- Site Supervision (Piping layout, Welding, Duct installation, Insulation, Safety procedures, Safety requirements, Hydro-test & Chemical treating).
7- QA / QC: Making sure the procedure of work and the materials used are complying with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA … etc.).
8- Coordination of work with plumbing, electrical & architecture.
• Duties:
1- Calculating the heating load for buildings.
2- Designing a full illustration of layout for under floor heating system on AutoCAD.
3- Simple Calculation for pumps, boilers and water tanks capacities required.
4- Site supervision.
5- Computing the required materials for the whole system to introduce a complete price-list &/or BOQ for construction projects.
6- Basic Solar system design.
