• Project management for designing, installation and commissioning of the complete factory and its machineries.
• Supervising and providing guidance for the installation, commissioning and testing of industrial machineries.
• Coordinating and allocating minimum manpower to adhere to project plan and schedule (currently managing a work force of 50+ staff in the factory).
• Co-ordination with Client, Architects, MEP Consultant, Sub contractors and suppliers for various project activities.
• Monitoring and controlling of the project/production to ensure quality and timely completion of the project/production with adhering to the budget allocated.
• Monitoring and preparing report of daily progress in the project/production as per schedule and reporting to concern authority.
• Procurement (local and international), Technical Evaluation, Estimation, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of equipment and machineries in the plant.
• Designing, reviewing and verifying of the drawing and design in adhere to DEWA standards.
• Designing and supervising of manufacturing of switchgear panels in-house with motor controls and installation of Control systems with PLC, VFD/Inverters and other field sensors as per DEWA standards.
• Providing guidance for Preventative, Predictive maintenance and breakdown maintenance to ensure that plant operations are able to meet production targets.
• Process optimisation of the factory. Studying the process in detail for process optimisation and machinery modification to achieve maximum efficiency of the installed machineries.
• Co-ordination with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, JAFZA, Tarkhees, etc. for various approvals
• Preparing Operations and Maintenance manual including Testing and Commissioning reports, as built drawings and maintenance manuals for the equipment used.
• Ensuring 100% availability of equipment (comprising of Sub-stations, Transformers, HT/LT motors, MCCs, Switchgears, Siemens S7 400/300/200 PLC, VFD/Inverter Drives).
• Providing guidance for Preventative, Predictive maintenance and breakdown maintenance to ensure that plant operations are able to meet production targets.
• Shift to shift delay monitoring and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and its corrective action implementation.
• To attend the running break downs in shift and rectifying the problems in minimum time delay.
• Designing and Coding of Required PLC, SCADA, AC Drives (VFD), Sensors, Controls/Software Integration, Electrical Wiring, Cabling and Termination
• Opportunity based maintenance of transformers, circuit breakers and other field equipment.
• Work with Suppliers to source parts and to substitute OEM parts with more economical options, designing and testing improved parts, updating older electronics that are no longer supported by manufacturers to improve equipment functionality.
• Maintenance planning and execution using SAP PM Module.
• Ensuring proper House Keeping as per TPM activities for the allotted area.
• Equipment life enhancement. Maintaining Equipment history.
