•Assists teachers in managing classroom activities and prepares the classroom for children each morning ensuring basic hygiene and safety is maintained.
•Tutors students and assists with assignments. Teaches concepts and educates children through songs, play and other fun activities.
•Completes prep-work for children’s activities as per the lesson plan.
•Provides hygienic care for children including but not limited to changing nappies and supporting children to go to the toilet.
•Files and decorates scrapbooks of each child, displays children’s crafts, photographs, and work throughout the year.
•Prepares and decorates class bulletin board according to topics and decorates classroom with age appropriate wall displays
•Supports swimming teacher during instruction time to ensure safety in the pool.
•Organizes and distributes learning resources
•Monitors students during class work and activities
•Plans and develops teaching aides as instructed
