• Experience in managing Network infrastructure maintenance.
• Good knowledge in Networking (Router/ Switch/ cabling) configuration.
• Interfacing directly with service providers, customers, field technicians and service contractors to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model, Subnetting and NAT.
• Excellent understanding of VLANs, VTP, L2 switch protocols including ARP, RARP and Inverse ARP.
• Identifying and troubleshooting network related issues using utilities like Ping, Trace route, Telnet, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Installing Server 2012 R2 Roles and Features.
• Excellent knowledge of networking protocols- BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and security protocols- SSL, IPsec, VPN technologies.
• Communicating computers to network using IP addressing with network cables.
• Configuring access list (both standard and extended) and Network address translation.
• Proactively used monitoring tools (alarms, trending graphs) to determine production issues.
• Excellent understanding of ITIL Service management practices.
