Client management for inspection clearance

Project Engineer/ Site Engineer/Quality Engineer
#Duties &Responsibilities as Project Engineer#
*Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
*Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
*Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
*Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
*Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
*Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
*Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
*Responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive works within area
*Planning and co-ordination of works with project teams
*Monitor performance and report accordingly
*Monitoring and ensuring the project program is maintained
*Complete the project on time and meet customer satisfaction.
#Duties & Responsibilities as Site Engineer:#
*Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all Mechanical and Electrical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.
*Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources required for all Mechanical E&I related works prior to execution.
*Preparation of Method of Statements for the site activities and documents for work permit.
*Interprets drawings and studies the contract documents, applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
*Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the Mechanical, E&I work groups at site.
*Submits site weekly reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
*Directly responsible for the safety of all personnel at site according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
*Attends regular meeting with client, engineers and consultant to provide update on project progress.
*Able to lead site personnel to execute and completion of job on time at site.
*Prepare Detailed Site feasibility report.
*Ensure the work site is safe for testing/ commissioning.
#Duties & Responsibilities as QA/QC#
*Understanding project requirements in accordance with applicable specifications and codes as agreed in the contract.
*Support and Assist the Project Engineering Managers with the compilation of the Quality Management part of the Engineering project execution plans.
*Preparation of WPS & PQR, and WQT
*Actively support the maintenance of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001 certification.
*Participate in Design reviews, Technical kickoff meetings, supplier kick off meetings, and customer kickoff meetings to assure quality requirements are understood and implemented.
*Prepare a Quality Plan in co-operation with the Project Manager (PM), assuring compliance with client and company requirements.
*Support the Project Engineering Managers with all the QC activities, as well as with the weekly and monthly Quality reports.
*Incoming material inspection
* To coordinate with clients and Third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
*Familiar with Welding & Construction, NDT, and Pressure Testing processes.
* Reading and interpret drawings and procedures.
* Establish root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct all stage-wise Inspection as per approved QAP/ITP with Client, & Third party.
• Technical support for the preparation of PQR
• Preparation of WPS with reference to the existing PQR, as per the client requirement.

• Interpretation of Radiography Films, Witnessing & Reviewing of various non - destructive tests such as Ultrasonic testing, Liquid Penetrate Testing & MPT.
