▪ Calculation of heating and cooling load, water demand for the plumbing system, pump sizing, hydraulic
calculations for firefighting system.
▪ Selection of sprinkler system, FHC, PFE, NOVEC 1230, FH, CO2 System, FACP, fire pumps, water supply
system, drainage system, storm/rainwater system, irrigation system, booster pumps, lift stations, tanks for domestic water and fire water tank, plumbing fixtures and accessories, electric water heater and hot water circulating pump, vent piping system, drainage, and water supply pipe sizing.
▪ Review installation and maintenance statements from contractors
▪ Provide advice related to approved installation standards and methods, to designers, draftsmen,
supervisors, and subcontractors.
▪ Preparation of shop drawings and AS-BUILT drawings for mechanical systems and getting their approvals
from clients and consultants.

Worked for the construction of Shaza Hotel Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Shaza Hotel is an Independent five-star hotel operator, supported by an affiliation with several prestigious partners such as Kempinski and Global Hotel Alliance.
This project had a project worth of 20 million SAR (HVAC Works only).Design responsibilities:
▪ Provided engineering design services in the design of the hotel in accordance with ASHRAE standards and
applicable building codes.
▪ Calculation of heating and cooling load, latent load calculation of swimming pool, sizing of air-handling
equipment for HVAC installations and pump sizing to meet the hotel’s requirement.
▪ Selection of HVAC equipment such as AHU, FAHU’s, Chillers, FCU’s, primary and secondary pumps, VAV’s,
package units, ventilation system, chemical dosing system etc.
▪ Preparation of shop drawings and AS-BUILT drawings for HVAC ducting work and chilled water piping
system.
▪ Collaboration with other architects, engineers, consultant and client for quality design and coordination with
other services.
Execution and site responsibilities:
▪ Preparation of material requisition, data sheet and specifications for HVAC equipment. Getting material
submittal approval from the consultant and following up with the consultant’s comments.
▪ Reviewing and getting approval of HVAC shop drawing, MEP coordination drawing, work method and design
details for site installation.
▪ Site supervision: Allocation and setting duration of tasks to the teams such as draftsmen, foreman
technicians and manpower with productivity requirement as per the work plan.
▪ Preparation of material requests to procurement department and ensuring the availability of material at site
within the required time frame to avoid any delays, especially with the long lead items.
▪ Supervision of testing and commissioning, balancing air, and water side of equipment, managing
theintegration of BMS and RMS systems.
▪ Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work follows site safety, approved shopdrawing and
project specification.
▪ Inspection of site progress and preparation of RFI for the completed installation works to the consultant.
Conduction of relevant tests such as smoke or light test for ductwork and hydro test for pipe work.
▪ Managing all quantity surveying, billing and verification related work, preparation of BOQ as per installed
works, managing monthly payment certificates, evaluation of subcontractor’s work and arranging all the
payments.
▪ Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly report and attend weekly meetings with project managers, consultants,
client, and other engineers to discuss the work progress and resolve any site related issues.
▪ Preparation of variation orders and incorporating them with the payments.
