Responsibilities:
- Establishing, preparing and equipping MEDAIR office in Syria, according to the country director instructions.
- Building a professional contractors/suppliers list.
- Conducting tenders and bids for MEDAIR relief projects in Syria, by assessing the contractors, and inviting the suitable ones to bid.
- Drafting the request for quotations, in accordance the technical and financial advices and recommendations.
- Drafting MEDAIR contracts with WASH suppliers and constructions companies.
- Following up the activities of WASH and rehabilitation according to the terms of each contract, by liaising with the infrastructure engineer, site engineers and contractors, to ensure the accurate implementation of the mentioned terms.
- Participating with Log cluster in Syria, in order to share MEDAIR experience with other NGOs, and to benefit from their experience and services as well.
-Managing MEDAIR properties in Syria, and carrying on the monthly inventory, to ensure the proper use of the assets, and optimizing each asset productivity through the preventive maintenance.
- Liaising with HR department and participating in interviewing logistics candidates, and recommending the most professional for working in MEDAIR

Responsibilities:
1. Setting the pipeline of imported relief items in coordination with the purchasers in Geneva.
2. Supervising supply chain activities in ICRC Damascus delegation.
3. Participating in launching tenders for several activities, organizing the selection tables for the received offers, awarding the best supplier after justifying the reasons.
4. Coordinating with other organizations to use their services: like using WFP chartered plane and attending log cluster.
5. Coordinating with Syrian ministries and institutions to ensure the smooth running of inspection goods, loading and distribution processes.
6. Supervising and Coordinating between ICRC warehouses to maintain the stabilization of stock replenishment and balancing, according to the activities volume of each warehouse in Syria.

Rresponsibilities in the task of purchasing:
1. Placing purchasing strategies and plans, after coordinating with Sales, Production, Stores and Finance departments to ensure the balanced decision.
2. Updating approved suppliers list with new approved suppliers & continuously evaluating the performance of existing ones.
3. Securing the required purchases at the suitable time and quality along with the best possible price, in order to prevent any interruption in the production process, and to compensate in reducing the production cost.
4. Coordinating with the finance department to keep their financial policy by increasing the debt limits granted by suppliers.

1. Defining the minimum stockpile of every product, spare part, tool and raw material.
2. Supervising the stock replenishment requisitions, based on the stocks minimum limits, to ensure the purchasing on time to avoid raw materials shortage or increment.
3. Issuing the products replenishment orders after coordinating with Sales and Production departments, by studying the sales plans and actual sales trend of every product.
4. Establishing KPI's of packaging workers per employee/shift, and running daily check for it.
5. Direct leading, supervising and carrying out the responsibilities of all warehouses and purchasing employees regarding their managerial affairs like: employee’s annual evaluation - Rewards - Punishments - Vacations - Overtime assignments.
6. Supervising and ensuring the implementation of safety procedures and firefighting training course.
