Responsibilities included:
• Assigning, supervising and assist in the work done by tax associate and tax seniors.
• Advising and assisting accounting and legal departments on various projects
• Providing quotations for services to be rendered
• Issuing invoices and following up the settlement with the cooperation and assistance of credit control department
• Preparing seminars and presentations for internal and external purposes
• Preparing and revising budgets, forecasts and targets of tax department
Responsibilities included:
• Advisory work internally and to clients regarding accounting and tax issues
• Retainer for advices involving new cross-border structures or restructuring
• Engaged in the audit of companies from a tax compliance perspective
• Dealing with closing companies (Liquidation and Strike-off)
• Dealing with examinations from tax authorities
• Providing information to international tax authorities according to TIEAs
• Obtaining tax residency and DTC certificates
• Obtaining advance tax rulings
• Review of the CIT prepared by auditors and submitting them
Responsibilities included:
• Plan, perform and lead audit engagements
• Implementing audit procedures and documenting internal controls, accounting records and relevant documentation
• Communication with clients regarding audit and accounting issues
• Ensuring companies' policies and procedures comply with IFRS
• Providing suggestions on the procedures and systems that were audited
• Optimizing and changing templates used by the audit software, in addition to training of people on the software
Responsibilities included:
• Preparation of proper books and records for companies with operations such as trading,
financing and investing
• Dealing with a portfolio of companies of different business environment
• Preparation of financial statements
