Commercial lead on Contracts (c140 totaling £240M), Ensuring high-quality, cost-effective healthcare and non-healthcare arrangements are procured, contracted, performance managed and reviewed. Providers include health, care, ICT Systems, Transport and corporate support services.

Working directly with the Chief Executives of the Trust, CCG, Adult Social Care and wider sector to provide leadership for transformation programmes to support delivering the vision for integrated value for money care (Health and Care Plan).

In line with the system role, readdressed the current transformation plans to include requirements of recovery plans and embed ICT developments.

Leading roles on key successful new business wins acting as bid manager, Solutions Architect, Subject Matter Expert into wider Serco Integrated Solution big ticket deals. Also played a leading role in the initial implementation, transformation and contract management for new contract wins. The role included a prominent level of matrix working.
Sector activity for back office and health service outsourcing wins included National Health Servies, Central Government, Local Authorities, Rail, Car manufacturing, Utilities and first of its kind arrangements with the Police and Fire Services. New business value ranged from £200k to £3M per annum. Also awarding national framework supplier status across the sectors including DWP and Military Services. Retention rates on current contracts was over 90%.

During 2012 played a key role in solution design and securing the major NHS contract win for Anglia Support Partnership (NHS shared services). Subsequently functioned as Director responsible for all Serco's Occupational Health (OH) related business within the NHS sector. Overseeing the strategic development, operational delivery, contractual performance and budget. I developed the NHS proposition for OH and delivered it to market, reduced operating budget by 25% and introduced new delivery models, Integrated all Serco OH NHS contracts onto a single national delivery model platform. Won new business in the NHS sector, six key contracts in 12 months and won preferred supplier to ‘NHS Central procurement Consortium' for OH to 40 NHS Trusts. Oversaw the management of over seventy staff.
