Project concerns the construction (dredging) of an approaching channel and quayside area, which needs to be completed for the installation of Gravity Based Structures.
Developing and implementing project related Plans, Risk Assessments and JSA based on VO Management System, Contract requirements and RF regulations.
Conducting routine main marine equipment inspections; project HSE induction; emergency drills.
Project concerns the construction of an offshore natural gas transmission system comprising two 48” diameter
pipelines from Russia through the Baltic Sea to Germany.
Responsible for road construction throughout swampy area in natural resort; trench construction with trench boxes
and sheet piles installation; cofferdam construction and removal; pipe pulling operation; backfilling (onshore and
offshore).
Working closed with local contractors to help and support them developing HSE documents and procedures,
according VO and project requirements.
Developing and implementing Risk Assessments and JSA based on VO Management System.
Conducting mobilization and routine equipment inspections; project HSE induction; drills; coaching and mentoring
local HSE personnel.
Develop Project QHSE plans and procedures based on Van Oord Management System, project specific
requirements, country laws and regulations.
Responsible for onshore and offshore operations: dredging, pipe pulling and backfilling.
Involved in contractors evaluations to ensure compliance with VO MS and project requirements.
Prepares and implement Risk Assessments/JSA for projects in order to minimize HSE risks.
Keep track and updates HSE Master register with HSE inductions, TbT, PtW, site/equipment inspections report, ER
drills and exercises.
Full involvements on subcontractors initial audit and inspections prior mobilization to ensure their compliance.
Registers accidents and the related follow-up. Also supervises accident investigations in accordance with the
stipulated procedure in order to establish where improvements are needed and to minimize accidents in the future.
Fully involved in HSE aspect in equipment site mobilization; offshore operations; crew transfer; pipe pulling
operations; road construction; rocks transportation; simultaneous activity
Working as QHSE Coordinator on the Zohr WND Project in Egypt. The role consisted of being in control of the local HSE team in Damietta.
Our scope of work on this project was to receive rock from Suez quarry by road and rail for it to be stockpiled in Damietta, it was then in turn loaded onto the rock dumping vessel using conveyer belts and wheel loaders where it was taken offshore and installed to protect subsea pipelines.
Predominantly the associated hazards were with falls from height, eye injuries, collisions with heavy equipment and general workplace hazards typically encountered during subsea rock installation.
Contractors HSE supervising in Well Engineering, Well Services, Construction and Operations

Implementation Safety programs - Road Safety, PtW and Concurrent operations on the well pads

Managing team of Well Engineering HSE Lead Engineers in daily company business. Monitoring Well Engineering HSE Management System. Apply the HEMP to assets or activities.
Coordinate HSE-MS in SPD Well Engineering and Contractors
Support and guide decision making on technical safety issues.
Involve Well Engineering contractors in safety initiatives. Set up contractor HSE initiatives.
Lead actively in HSE Team efforts, meetings, and initiatives.
Lead incident investigations and participate incident review panels
Focal point for occupational health matters in Well Engineering
Focal point for Emergency preparedness for WE SPD same as for contractors
Coordinate Safety management system audit program and close-out of actions
Promote and undertake regular site safety audits by senior location personnel
Monitor working practices and identify areas for improvement
Focal point for SPD WE and Contractors annual HSE plans
Full support for HSE representatives on site
Focal point for update WE and Contractors HSE procedures
Hold emergency role as a part of Incident Control Centre
Direct reports: 2x Field HSE Advisor (Rigs); 2x Field HSE Advisor (Logistics); 2x Field HSE Advisor (Well Service)
Follow required reporting procedures that reflect the documentation of self-audit findings.
Developed require guidance for a strong audit performance.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensured safety compliance; participate in safety walks to identify unsafe conditions and non-compliance actions.
Maintain HSE Training database.
Lead and supervise HEMP (Hazard Effect Management Process) activities, contribute in ISSOW; Risk Assessments
Provided training/ instruction and also organise emergency drills and exercises.
Hold critical role as On Scene Commander (OSC) in all emergency drills and exercises and coordinate teams.
Preventive maintenance for life saving appliances (lifeboats; helicopter crash box; fire fighting equipments, etc).
Ensured the arrangements for the application of the HSE-MS are in place and active.
Interface with higher discipline technical authorities as required.
Focal point for HSE Case, Health Risk Assessments, HSE Plan, Emergency Response Procedure, Security Plan, incident investigation and monitoring activities/reports.
Prepared and conducted regular platform HSE meetings.
Coaching people on observation and reporting STOP program.
Focal point for Permit to Work activities
Control and co-ordinate work carried out by all departments within location to ensure that no conflicting Permits are issued.
Provided support to all departments to ensure their compliance with the SEIC Permit to Work standard.
Maintain a filing system to ensure all completed work permits are stored onsite for a period of 90 days.
Maintain a register of all system users.
Assist site controller during emergency situations.
Ensure proper monitoring of HSE performance and disseminate such information, e.g. Safety Alerts; platform HSE performance.
Give a necessary support and advice to other departments in promoting greater safety awareness and standards.
Project: Services for drilling and well completion activities (onshore & offshore)
Duties:
Ensured that no employees are exposed to any hazardous substances or environments without suitable and
sufficient controls / protection being in place.
Where these exist but are beyond the company’s control, obtain documented evidence to ensure that the Company
or the controller of the premise has carried out all necessary precautions before allowing work to proceed.
Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and proper manner and in compliance with relevant risk assessments and
radiation safety procedures.
Ensured all necessary documents are available and valid for using RA sources in Russia.
Ensured system which has a control of Radiation Safety is working.
Ensured all people whom direct contact with RA sources has necessary trainings and periodically medical
examination.
Ensured necessary documents are prepared and available for transportations of RA sources.
Duties included industrial and safety training for all aspects of construction.
Reports to and assist the Project HSES Manager in the overall implementation of approved project Safety / Loss Prevention Program, with a primary function of performing continuous monitoring at work site to ensure continuing conformance of field work force with all relevant Safety, Health, Environmental and Security requirements.
Assistance in the compliance of all HSE legislation, regulations and procedures of the Project.
Give assistance in advising on HSE matters to subcontractors at the field.
Participation in regular HSE meetings with the subcontractors.
Assist in the performing of weekly audits/inspections with the subcontractors and managers.
Provide assistance with HSE trainings and when required enforce Russian Federation Laws.
Assist in the checking that all the procedures appertaining to Russian Federation Law is being recorded and logged by subcontractors
Ensured all tools, plant and equipment whether hired or purchased, are safe and comply with current statutory
requirements. Arrange for regular inspection, servicing and maintenances in accordance with company procedures
and where applicable with Russian Law.
Identified any requirements for training of staff and operatives under their charge and in consultation with the
relevant Unit Manager, ensure that training is given when and where required.
Ensure that records of all training are kept in accordance with Company procedures.
Ensure that all employees under their control have been suitable assessed, in line with
Company procedures, and are competent to safely carry out their duties.
