· Review Training Material on Theory and Practical
· Create and review practical Plant Pass out on plants
· Review and update Plant procedures (SOP)
· Review and create Shift plan on weakly basis, time sheets, training and sick leaves
· Assist with Plant shutdowns and the permits for the shut downs
· Review Maintenance schedules on Plant equipment Stats Due
· Review and changing of Batch tickets
· Relief Plant Superintendent when not available
· Keeping plant maintenance up to date and scheduling plant maintenance
· Plan shift activities such as process and personnel coverage.
· Organize production and raw material/packaging needs.
· Lead and coach/train subordinates.
· Control process and production on a shift basis to achieve laid down goals.
· Issuing of value added job requests and safe work permits.
· Ensure subordinates work safely and follow Operating Plant procedures.
· Compute daily production figures.
· Control fixed and variable budged on a shift basis.
· Attend meetings such as safety, quality, production planning.
· Complies with laid down operational procedures.
· Make adjustments within the operations procedure.
· Ensure the Management of change process has been followed.
· Prioritize the work order using knowledge of plant.
· Responsible for the starting and stopping of plants under his control.
· Measurement Techniques.
• Establish Equipment start-up conditions.
• Staring up equipment and shutting down the equipment to a specified state or conditions.
• Contributing to maintenance of the equipment.
• Establish Plant start-up conditions and to start the plant.
• Monitor and maintain plant conditions
• Collect and interpreting non-routine information regarding plant conditions.
• Shutting down of plant and contribute towards maintenance of a plant.
• Establish conditions for process start-up
• Starting the process and controlling the process within set parameters.
• Collect interpreting and communicating information on the process conditions.
