Providing Technical support for Vmware ESXi at L2 level
Handling Incidents & Changes which are logged through Incident Management tool Service Now according to the SLAs defined.
Providing day to day operational support for VMware Environment of the client which has more than 100 VMware ESXi servers.
Working on VMware VCenter management, VSphere administration, managing virtual machines under Data centres all over sites located in different geographical locations.
Experience in Installation, Configuration and up gradation VMware VCenter & VMware ESXi Administration of various Linux Virtual Servers under different ESX hosts.
Good understanding of ESXi server architecture
Configure Virtual Network in ESXi server by creating vSwitches and Dswitch.
Creation of different port groups like VMkernel and VM port groups.
Deploying and creating Virtual machine form Templates
Performing patching on Host and Virtual machines
Installing and updating VMware tools on Virtual machines
Provisioning data store for virtualized environment
Experience in handling team and all Datacentre Operational support activities.
Generating daily, weekly and monthly report as per Management requirement
Experience in Installation, Configuration and Administration of Operating Systems Redhat Linux Server
