System specialist :- TETRA System Maintenance - Jan 2012 to Present ( Dubai Airport)
• Handle the O&M and preventive maintenance programs for all active and passive devices of the TETRA radio systems in the airport.
• Checking and troubleshooting of the TBS ( TETRA BASE STATION) by using the Win MMI software and Tetra Radio as well.
• Corrective maintenance for the Andrew ION-M Systems (Optical MASTER UNIT, Remote Unit (fiber optic repeater) by using the ANDREW software A.I.M.O.S ( Andrew Integrated Management and Operating System ).
• Conduct coverage test, survey, planning and implementation of TETRA DAS systems on which area not yet covered by the radio signal
• Prepare the schedules and conducting preventive maintenance for the radio system as per the schedule
• Testing & splicing of Optical fiber cables
• Prepare the daily report, event log reports, monthly and yearly reports.
• Prepare the technical drawings (in MS visio ) and documentation for new projects and events

Job Description
• Supervise technical staff and sub contractors on a day-to-day or project basis, including determining workloads and schedules, developing, implementing and interpreting policies and procedures.
• Survey, Installation, commissioning, Testing and maintenance of radio systems (EADS TETRA).
• Installation of Tetra Base Station (TBS), Repeaters, Andrew MMR-Master unit & Remote units, Indoor and Outdoor antenna, Couplers, Splitters
• Distribution antenna system(DAS) testing by using CW Transmitter(Gator) and Spectrum analyzer
• RF cable testing by using Site master ( TDR-anritsu)
• Repair & maintenance for Eads nokia THR & TMR radios..
• Maintenance of TBS using software’s like Winmmi, E1-T1 manager
• Responsible for the Implementation of the required TETRA design .
• Supervise in termination, splicing & testing of cables.( coaxial cable- 1 5/8, 7/8 inch, 1/2 inch, RG213 & 214 cat5 and cat6)
• Direct and coordinate with the installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities
• Inspect the completed installations and observe operations of the systems, to ensure the design and equipment specifications are compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Handle the maintenance, repairing and preventive maintenance programs for all equipments in different sites.
• Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential projects.
• Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget
• Maintenance of smoke detectors, speakers, trackers and CCTV
• Assist consultants for testing and commissioning activities of TETRA Systems ( SIT and SAT ).
• Coordinate with the client for site survey and inspection of TETRA DAS systems.
• Prepare as built drawings and project documentation
