I had one year of professional experience in medical coding as a Medical Coding Analyst at Optum. I was into HCC (Risk Adjustment Model) coding. I worked on multiple projects like Medicare, Aetna, and Centene. My role was to analyze and interpret diagnosis, symptoms and treatment procedures from patients electronic medical records and to accurately assign ICD-10 codes using MRM software. I maintained my daily production with an accuracy above 90 %. Moreover I have good knowledge in medical terminologies, ICD &CPT guidelines, HCPCS which helped me to enhance my coding abilities at Optum.
