* Build a Data Strategy for future data projects and priorities
* Develop, lead and execute programs and initiatives
* Source and/or Acquire Data
* Keep abreast of data protection laws and regulations and ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws
* Maintain the company data asset register, conforming to current ISO27001 guidelines
* Review, update and oversee the implementation of the automated Ratio Analysis & Risk Score liaising with developers and CEO
* Develop and maintain collaborative relationships and communications with data providers, data controllers, data governance leads, data cleansing and normalisation service providers, data entry personnel, data quality team and software team as well as business leads (current and potential clients) and/or sales team
* Compiling Credit Reports
* Editing credit reports prepared by a team of business researchers
* Analysing financial statements and providing ratio analysis
* Supervising and training new staff and the team
* Providing cover of Head of Credit Reporting when absent or on annual leave
* Keeping abreast of developments within the MENA region (commercial laws, economic & political factors, etc...)
* Translating financial statements of listed companies in MENA region
- Collecting Legal and Financial information on Subjects.
- Translating Financial Statements (from French or Arabic)
- Interviewing senior officials at the Subjects.
- Analysing risk and financial position for Subjects for short term loans.
- Providing Credit Report to Export Credit Agencies, major Exporters and Insurance companies among others.
- Training new staff
- Preparation of journal entry
- Maintenance of bank reconciliations
- Analyze the revenue and expenditure trends in details to recommend appropriate budget levels and control expenditure
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and budgets
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparation of statement accounts when needed
