• Create seasonal financial plans to guarantee optimal inventory investment, increase merchandise flow, and reduce markdowns to maximize profitability.
• Plan the effective utilization of allocated budget in the procurement, placement and inventory management of the product.
• Closely monitor product behavior of KIDS category throughout the season, report on the sales and updated statuses against each product’s performance.
• To prepare Middle Out and Bottom up plan (sales, stock, buying) for category at week and month level.
• To analyze market trends & competitor strategies and suggest corrective actions accordingly.
• To identify and forecast demand gaps so that future PO’s can be adjusted accordingly.
• Support replenishment team in the preparation of monthly pre-season distribution and in-season replenishment plan on the basis of products and warehouses by providing sales targets with stock standards for each planned SKU.
• To suggest liquidation proposals of slow movers, identify & recommend markdown projections.
• Prepare reports on never-out-of-stock items.
• Present weekly “Performance Review” report to CEO and Planning Manager with reasoning and
recommendations for future action plans, Also prepare extensive daily, weekly, monthly standard reports as well as adhoc analysis as needed.
• Actively educated non-finance partners about basic finance to help them prepare better business strategies
