• Review Subcontractors’ QMS documents & procedures.
• Raising and Resolving Non-conformance Reports.
• Supervise welder qualification Test with client representative and Monitor Welder performance and provide training for certificate holders.
• Consumable control, inspection and weekly Quality induction program for the welders.
• Coordinate and attend quality inspections with site sub contractors and consultants.
• Provide feedback to Quality Manager emerging QA/QC issues.
• Interface with HSE staff to provide information on QA/QC issues..
• Weld monitoring and analysis of weld repair rate for assessment of welders on linear and joint basis.
• Witness, Review & approve RT (film Interpretation), MPI, LPT, PMI, HT, PWHT.
• Review of WPS, PQR, WPQR and Inspection Test Plan.
• Walk down inspection of Boiler piping (HRSG), gas, fueloil, demin water, cooling water, chemical pipelines, mechanical equipments, steel structures and issuance of punch list.
• Inspections of Diesel oil and water storage tanks construction (Fit up, Welding, Peaking, Banding, Verticality, nozzle orientation, settlement check etc.)
• Review of test packages & witness of hydro test & pneumatic test to ensure compliance to the company’s procedure, safety requirements & regulations.
• Fit up and welding inspection of piping and structures and line verification with P&ID and Isometrics.
• Installation inspection of various type piping supports.
• Joint inspection of GRP, GRE & GRV pipes. (Barcol test, Thickness checks using Circo meter/Pi tape, location and elevation survey etc).
• Preparations of construction completion certificate/package (CCC) and hand over to commissioning department.
