Heading Finance Functions, involving determining financial objectives, designing and implementing financial plans and systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control
Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected and actual results and implementing corrective actions.

REGIONAL FINANCE
To consolidate & prepare reports for all the G4S companies in North Africa, Middle East and Southern Asia to Regional president and Head Office in UK.
To Assist Regional Director Finance.
To conduct an internal audit (Internal Financial Review).
Implementing systems, procedures & manuals for preparation &
maintenance of books of accounts, financial statements and MIS.
Monitoring the receivables account through regular reconciliation’s and follow ups ensuring adherence to the Credit Policy of the company.
Monitoring Free cash position on weekly basis and consolidation at the month end.
COMPLIANCE
Adherence to Group policy in all financial areas.
Working in close association with Regional Legal Counsel to mitigate risks in all operating countries within the region.
FUNDING & INVESTMENTS
Advise operating companies on their funding requirements and investments.
Assist with projects and acquisitions.
MIS
Collection and analysis of MIS.
To ensure timely and accurate information to be presented to Regional president and Head office.
-Managing the company’s accounting system to ensure maintenance of complete, accurate and timely financial and operating information
-Ensure that all regular financial reports are prepared accurately and on time
-Coordinating the preparation of annual budgets and monthly MIS.
-Monitoring performance against budgets, identifying problems areas, counselling on corrective action.
-Forecasting and monitoring cash flow
-Ensuring operation of sound credit and collection program to facilitate sales and minimize credit losses.
-Counselling on resolution of major accounts receivables problems.
-Participation in the preparation of company business plans
