HIGHLIGHTS OF CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
- Closed deal with Kuwait Oil Company via Bechtel for first 6 DCS from Emerson. The installation base kept on growing to 70% of DCS at Kuwait Oil Company.
- Instrumental in setting up the local support centre for DCS which has now grown into a formidable centre by providing all types of services required by the user like training, FAT live support etc.
- Completed a deal with PDO Oman for putting Mass based Flow metering concept at their well heads. The initial deal for the mass meters was worthy over $1.5 Million.
- Concluded deals for Chloride industrial for Supply of Industrial UPS for Kuwait National Petroleum Refinery worth (Euro 3 million) and with Kuwait Oil Company for (US$ 6 Million).
- Worked to Establish Saab Tank Radar Gauging system for all the storage Tanks in Kuwait. Over 500 Storage tanks are currently equipped with the Saab Radar Tan Gauging. The deal worth Multi Million Dollars.
- Established Hima Germany as a preferred Shutdown system for Kuwait Oil Company directly as well as through Contract business.
- Was nominated to coordinate on globally with Emerson. Travelled to China to discuss & finalize with the Chinese Contractor CPECC for DCS as well as Field Equipments for two major Oil Gathering Centers.
- Additional responsibility of Business development for 2 grass root projects (Equate Petrochemical complex and a Subiya Power Plant). Generated business directly and indirectly worth US$ 10 million.
- Concluded a deal to put Gilbarco Veeder Root Dispensers and Tank Gauging system for all Petrol Stations in Kuwait. The deal also included vapor processing from VST. The project worth equivalent to US$ 5 Million.
- During my break from my career for personal reasons (1998 to 2000), established a Company in Toronto Canada. Generated revenue of around C$ 1.0 million in the 1st year itself operating from home. Though the Company being new and small, I managed to establish and sustained a good relationship with the various local distributors & suppliers.
- Consultancy & Project activities (2006 to 2012): Led a team of 40 to 60 people for execution of various Projects associated with KBR, KGL Kuwait etc. for supporting the activities of US Army in Iraq. The projects were time bound and were completed ahead of the schedule.
