I was tasked with overseeing HR and Administrative operations for all branches located in the UAE (including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, JAFZA, KEZAD, DIC, and Al Ain), as well as in India, China, Pakistan, and Kenya.
Job Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing HR strategies: Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organizations overall business objectives.
• Developing and managing HR policies and procedures: Creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and align with the organizations goals.
• New Company formations, monitoring & managing renewals of company licenses, lease agreements, vehicle registrations, etc.
• Recruiting and retaining top talent: Developing and implementing talent management strategies that attract, retain and develop the right employees. Eg: Succession planning, Leadership development, recruiting top senior level candidates as per company goals.
• Managing employee relations: Handling and resolving employee issues, concerns, and disputes in an eficient and efective manner to maintain a positive work environment.
• Leading change initiatives: Implementing change management strategies that support the organizations growth and help employees adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Managing HR operations: Overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, such as management of payroll, leaves, performance and employee data.
• Developing and delivering training and development programs: Creating and delivering training programs to develop employee skills and capabilities that align with the organizations goals.eg: Annual training plan and employee engagement plan.
• Measuring HR performance: Developing and implementing HR metrics that measure the efectiveness of HR strategies and initiatives. Eg: ROI on hiring, trainings, cost saving measures, PMS, KPI setting, goal setting etc.
• Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant HR laws and regulations.
My role involved managing HR and Administrative activities for all branches in the UAE (including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, JAFZA, KEZAD, DMCC, and HAMRIYAH), as well as in India, Oman, Saudi Arabia (KSA), Qatar, and Kazakhstan.
Job Responsibilities
• Recruitment of Senior C suite management/ mid & junior level multiple positions.
• Contributing to the establishment of policies & procedures surrounding HR related works.
• Keeping records of performance appraisals, compensation etc.
• Managing grievance (counseling & guiding employees on diferent various multifaceted issues)
