Responsible for deliveriling large scale performance improvement and transformation agenda, along with my team of 20 staff.
- My team is mandated to optimize strategic business processes across the bank, ensure significant process improvement are delivered, monitored, sustained and then handover to respective business.
- Centralized Business analyst (BA) team for business requirements gathering and translating into BRD like documents for IT to develop solution documents. Also Use Cases, test cases, UAT maps.
- Managing team of 15+ staff on various role profile
As Unit Manager, The team is responsible for leading and managing Project Management office (PMO) for implementing strategic business and IT projects or Program for Corporate banking, Trade back office, and Risk Management. Job description includes:
• Led and delivered several complex projects by demonstrating strong team work and conflict management.
• Alignment across various projects to cross fertilize resources and transfer of knowledge. Ensured changes are aligned with bank strategic vision and objectives. Manage communications.
• Competency enhancement of team through knowledge sharing and trainings.
Responsible for Business process Improvement across north and eastern region. Scope : Retail Branch Banking, Cards, Wholesale Banking, Retail Operations, Card Operations. Key Functions: Project management, Service Assessments, Lean Six Sigma deployment, Capability Building in Quality methodologies. Notable deliverables were as following:
• Credited for managing over 20 projects in business and technology improvement. Some of the strategic projects are:
o Small business loans
o Account opening process improvement, o Credit Card cycle time reduction
o Retail Branch banking
• Drove the efforts to setup Service Quality for the region, including customer compliant handling.
• Consistent ‘Excellent’ or ‘outstanding’ performer throughout the career in HDFC Bank.
• Managed several high level strategic projects at regional and central level.
• Distinction in managing complete project of small business loans which resulted in business growth by 15% and decrease in credit approval transaction time to 2 Hrs.
• Several appreciations from CEO and CFO for leading country wide massive program on KYC / Account opening rejections, which resulted in reducing rejection from 25% to 5%.
