Worked as the Supply Quality Analyst at Airbnb India Private Limited at the Gurgaon Office wherein my job responsibilities included:
Analyzing existing supply/listings and identifying key areas of improvement with respect to content, structure and photographs.
Communicating with existing hosts and guiding them on how to improve their profile and listing details.
Educating hosts with best hosting practices as per laid down processes.
Work with Supply Team to identify and refine strategies to improve quality of existing supply.
Have also handled and supervised HR and administrative activities in the company and helped in creating and updating of records in the database.
Successfully trained and divided responsibilities for new joinees in the company to ensure the best quality of work being undertaken.
An upcoming Travel Portal based out of California, U.S.A in partnership with the Director of Evelyn Learning Systems Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi) as a Travel Expert who recommends the most suitable accommodations by customizing each recommendation to cater to the clients’ requirements.
The Travel Expert plays two main roles:
Chat Expert:
As the Chat Expert, I am responsible for the following tasks:
• Communication with the client via instant messaging/chat and Email on the Internet.
• Creating a friendly relationship with the clients in order to put them at ease for interacting with them in a better way using a real-time approach.
• Obtaining and understanding all travel needs and preferences of the client.
• It is also required of me to know more about the destination - its surroundings, places of interest, things to do locally, options to move around like public transport, etc.
Research Expert:
As the Research Expert, I am involved in the following tasks:
• Mapping the clients’ requirements before doing any kind of research. This requires good analytical skills and aptitude to understand and act upon the clients’ perspective.
• Finding the best places to stay, according to the needs of the clients from all over the world.
• Work involves researching on the internet for the best deals for hotels, rooms, lodges, cabins, apartments, houses, hostels, etc. Also looking up on Google maps, using Google Earth to plot the searched accommodation on the map to be shared with the client.
