Since Mitsubishi Corporation, Tokyo has established their Branch office in Jebel Ali FZE, I have been involved right from the inception of the company and have a played a major role in establishing the company.I have been designated as the Assistant Manager of Logistics Division - reporting to CEO of the company. Below are my responsibilities :-

• To direct and control the division’s staff.
• Overall management of the daily operational activities of the staffs.
• Attending meeting with leading Shipping company officials to negotiate the freight rates for both export and import shipments from various sectors.
• Overseas correspondence with branch offices/agents .
• Appointing overseas agents whenever required.
• Act pro-actively to ensure all logistical requirements to the clients are met accurately, timely and consistently.
• Attending meeting with the third party Logistic provider on a monthly basis to discuss about the warehouse activities and to assure the maximum level of service to the clients.
• Drawing up Annual projection with Turnover, Expenses and Profit.
• Drawing up Annual strategic plan for business expansion with new clients and indicating the development of the existing client business.
• To ensure that the respective division works within the framework of the stipulated annual operational budget.
• Controlling & monitoring the Receivables/Payables and instructing the accounts accordingly.
• To plan an effective motivation of the operational staff by enhancing their knowledge & skills through in-house or out-sourced training sessions and organized interaction.
• Preparing monthly reports to the CEO
• Preparing profitability statements on a monthly / quarterly / half yearly / annual basis and providing to the management.
• New business development and travelling in the GCC.
• To implement annual performance Appraisal system within the staff and accordingly motivate the staff by recommending them to the management.
