• Monitoring of GL accounts on a daily basis and advising the various
units/departments/Branches/ITD through ICD on any exceptions and discrepancies and to confirm the correctness in order to maintain the error free and balanced GL
• Controlling of General ledger thereby sending instructions to the Branches with
rectified entries if any error occurs.
• Creation of new GL’s, Classes on the basis of approved request from Branches/Departments.
• Preparing daily Balance Sheet & income Statement.
• Monthly Consolidated Balance Sheet & income statement including international Branches & Subsidiaries (ADIFS-Burooj Properties-Kawader)
• Reviewing Payments and GL Entries
• Covered Card Expenses, Fees income & operating Expenses analyze
• Customer Profit Rate Calculation
• Preparing payment Schedule for work in process by project wise.
• Ensure timely payments of suppliers.
• Prepare the cash flow projection.
• Month end accruals.
• Perform vendors account reconciliations.
• Assist to prepare Budget & forecasting.
• Ensure all entries to GL are posted accurately and information routed to GL is complete
• Manage accounts receivable.
• Maintain Payroll Accounting.
• Prepare Bank reconciliation.
• Recording fixed assets additions, disposals & depreciation .
• Reconciliation of Intercompany statements.
• Coordinate with auditors.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies to ensure accurate and reliable reporting for business operations.
• Responsible for the month end close process, posting journal entries, monthly and quarterly account reconciliation, financial reporting, audit schedules…
• Reviewing monthly reconciliation of inter company accounts.
• Conduct all fixed assets related transactions like addition, transfer, disposal, depreciation processing, etc
• Responsible for planning and supervising the work of subordinate accountants.
• Manage the process of timely payment of suppliers together with suppliers statement reconciliation
• Maintain and record accounting transactions of the company
• Develop and maintain monthly financial reports
• Prepare cash flow and reports, record and ensure collections and payments and reconcile bank statement
• Liaise with bank for credits, guarantees and normal banking relationships
• Review and ensure adherence to systems and procedures
• Responsible for general cost accounting, maintain accounting records and other related duties in the daily administration of the Finance Department
• Perform accounts payable duties such as verifying all invoices for payment, ensure expenditures are charged to appropriate accounts
• Maintain general ledger, including preparing journal entries, coding invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly
• Update records for fixed assets and all other financial documents as necessary; Prepare depreciation schedule of fixed assets
• Prepare payroll
• Control the finalization of Monthly and Annual accounts to ensure timely preparation of MIS Reports with Actual v Budget
• Prepare monthly accruals and other month end adjustments
• Preparation of cash flow forecast
• Production of monthly management accounting pack with relevant analysis for issuing to management team
• Supervision and assistance to junior team members as required with accounting matt
• Preparing of audit schedules and liaison with the auditors
