Worked at Emirates NBD as TIBCO consultant deputed by Network International on the following credit card operation assignments:
a. Providing UAT support to ADCB ensuring the requests are received at CRM layer and reach destination systems such as Base24 and Vision Plus through TIBCO BW, EMS.
b. Investigating production issues like credit card transaction miss-outs and SMS alerts affecting the customer by looking into log extracts, Unix GREP and querying database
c. Investigating slow responses / anomalies from end systems i.e. Vision Plus API (Production) in case of issue and ensure the system functionality after issue resolution
d. Providing time to time resolution to credit card statement /SMS alert related (production) issues as reported by other banks whose services are running in ENBD such as ADCB, FGB
e. Gather statistics and generate reports for Vision Plus credit card transactions/enquiries
1. Developed VAS activation/de-activation and Price Plan change module for Telenor customers through IVR and call center using TIBCO BW. Defining new XSD schemas for receiving new requests from CRM and implementing business logic using BW HTTP, JDBC, File and XML activity palettes at BPM layer and destination layers Provident and Geneva.
2. Designed and developed customer modification module for Telenor for updating customer attributes using TIBCO BW. Error handling mechanism was built in order to check pending stuck requests and ensure incoming XML was correct to be sent to destination systems.
3. Developed 3rd party database interface with NADRA database for first call activation by the customer using TIBCO ADB Adapters. Designed BW processes to receive request from adapter and consequently update CRM to set the customer status as Active.
4. Developed on TIBCO Alarm (notification) module. This was designed for pre-emptive notification of customer status to CRM and provisioning (network) based on the status in billing system GENEVA. Developed XSDs for requests such as customer blocking/unblocking, restriction/un-restriction and suspension/un-suspension.
5. Developed using TIBCO BW for a hybrid prepaid-postpaid solution.
6. Worked on MNP Mobile number portability promotion campaign to deal with large number of incoming and outgoing requests of customers switching between service providers. This was implemented using EMS queues.

a. Installation, managing updates and fixing malfunctioning of all (EAI) TIBCO software in Staging, Development and Production environments for TP OSS
b. Making available environment for TIBCO Production by ensuring all deployed engines are working smoothly in conjunction with other entities. Ensuring all links up with TIBCO sitting in between Siebel for CRM, Geneva for billing, TERTIO for Provisioning, SMS gateway server, EMS for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) and ADB Adapters on 3rd party databases
c. Testing EARs in staging environment
d. Taking routinely back-ups for all TIBCO BW engines 16 engines and 8 ADB Adapters in Production running in FT mode
e. Release Management: Performing UAT pre-deployment. Planning Release outages and maintaining no SO loss by making middleware available on go-live. Deploying TIBCO BW engines (EARs) in Production environment in release outage.
f. Sanity testing post-deployment
12. Detecting, taking up issues, logging bugs found in existing functionalities in Production
g. Providing first level support by manual fixes
h. Escalation as a bug to vendor Accenture India and TIBCO support to resolve unknown problems
i. Applying patches to fix. Redeploy EAR/ Adapter. Checking for DB locks etc
13. Worked as a solution architect for reviewing, analyzing and scrutinizing solutions provided by vendor at design, development, deployment and testing phases.
• Learnt database implementation of PTCL CRM system for all landline and data products. Worked on PTCL B & CC project “Customer Care System” on data analysis, migration and database scripts on Oracle database servers \[April 2006 - May 2007\]
• Designed and developed Project Management System for KASB Securities, which deals with teams, projects and invoices. The work assignments include role based authentication and authorization, email notification system, reports using Crystal Reports 10g, recovery of funds, proposal repository etc. This system is being developed using ASP.NET 1.1 & SQL Server 2000. \[January 2006 - March 2006 \]
• Designed and contributed significantly in development of sponsorship management system for Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation in Pakistan using C# & ASP.NET 1.1, JavaScript, SQL server 2000. This project dealt with sponsorship projects selection and pledges from different sponsors through registration, reports for sponsored, partially sponsored and un-sponsored projects in different earthquake struck districts and villages. On the administrative side it provided functions for disbursement acknowledgments, transparency and monitoring. \[November 2005 - December 2005\]
• Designed and developed an E-commerce Portal with MS SQL server 2000, ASP.NET in C# and JavaScript. This portal handles online website creation and dynamic website content management. A new website can be created with pages and modules, hyperlinks, images, news and data with customization options such as color, template, header, footer, logo, slogan, content formatting, and content layout by the site administrator. Search engine optimization options such as Meta tags & keywords are also provided. An online store can be created in e-commerce version of the application with a catalog of products, shopping cart and credit card transactions. A payment module takes care of customer orders and shipping. This solution makes the process of website/web store creation quick and easy. A database for new website is generated out of the application database and site is hosted standalone on web hosting and database servers. \[December 2004 - December 2005\]
