School Principal for Pre K-12 program. Duties include; hiring American and Egyptian staff, Accreditation Protocol for licensure from the Ministry of Education, selection of curriculum for all grades, all subjects, written vision and mission statements, policies and procedures manual, staff handbook, student and parent handbook, working as part of a Board of Directors, writing the compendium of standards, benchmarks, objectives and scope and sequence for the American Common Core so that staff has a clear direction and understanding of curriculum, and establishing diagnostic written examinations as part of the admissions process for grades K-12.

In charge of teaching English and psychology to freshmen and sophomores majoring in Engineering, Math and Business. Duties also included office hours, Ambassador Leadership classes, and accreditation.

Also charged with a leadership team of six, an American curriculum and assessment, introduction of the New Common Core, curriculum design and instruction, and professional development for both the girls’ and boys’ sectors. Also included was the design of a support program for special needs as part of the accreditation process.

Founding Principal
High School Principal for Multiple Pathway Program. Opened new school for over-aged and under credited students, offering a variety of options for the “at-risk” student to earn a high school diploma or GED as well as career technical education courses. Our focus was post-secondary readiness. Duties included but not limited to instructional leadership, curriculum and assessment, management of 43 staff members, emergency response training, response to intervention, budget management, positive behavioral support, staff evaluations, developing handbooks for students, parents, staff and all committees, establishing professional learning communities, establishing faculty structures, such as meeting times and protocols as well as other initial leadership responsibilities.
