My basic responsibilities as a district manager were to oversee the overall operation of retail stores within an assigned district. I was tasked with ensuring the various retail stores are running smoothly and that the stores meet their sales goals. Individual store managers were interviewed and hired by me as district manager. Lots of paper work and traveling was included.
