We are one of the leading fire rated steel door manufacturer in kuwait. And also doing metal works for different projects.
• Assists in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan.
• Monitors work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each assignment.
• Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site.
• Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client)
• Ensure that the process of work is in accordance with the method statements and approved drawings are followed.
• Provide full support as required by the Management for all projects.
• Monitor the quality control indicators and alert sub-contractor site engineers in cases of deviation and propose corrective measures to be applied.
• Review Drawings & Specifications, Laboratory Test Results, Inspection and test plan, and Method Statements for implementation.
• Witness along with the client representative and consultants the testing of materials and structures (e.g. concrete sampling, trial mix, materials etc.) if it conforms to the design / specifications of the international standards.
• Prepares Inspection Requests and other quality related reports/documents of every activity and monitor accomplishments.
• Ensure that the process of work is in accordance with the method statements and approved drawings are followed.
• Supervising labor and sub-contractors to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with works procedures and instructions & Coordinate daily inspection and meetings.
Ensuring equipment and procedures comply with safety regulations.
Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
To watch and inspect the construction and assure that it is done in full accordance with the plans and specifications.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Liaising with other engineers, surveyors, clients and sub-contractors.
Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Preparing reports as required.
Overseeing the production process.
Prepare weekly production Plans & Main prog as directed by production manager.
Making Daily production report, Monthly production report of different items for various projects.
Undertaking cost analysis for repair and Variation for each projects.
Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders.
Visit building sites to monitor progress.
Evaluate each element shop drawing and layouts and calculate additional mould cost.
Ensuring that production is cost effective.
Ensuring that products are produced in a timely manner and are produced within quality guidelines
Foreseeing potential problems before they happen.
Supporting tender bids.
Co ordinate with erection department in order to assure the production as per their schedule.
Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.
Keeping and Updating ISO related documents for audit.
Responsibility as QA/QC at Precast Factory
• Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Programme and ensuring incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
• Mould inspection-after setup, mould will be inspected dimensionally.
• Inspection of reinforcement- Correct no. of pieces required, Diameter of rebar and type, Cutting length, Bending is correct, Rustiness is minimal, Spacers are enough to attain the required covering.
• Checking application of mould release agent, make sure that the material was applied evenly and in correct amount.
• Inspection of embeds, lifters, dowel bars, chaise and provisions for electrical.
• Inspection while pouring concrete placement.
• Ensure the proper vibration of each casting mould and ensure that it is done properly.
• Checking the finishing works after concreting.
• Ensure that the elements are covered with polythene sheet once the surface finishing is done.
• Monitoring of curing during the early stages of concrete strength development.
• Accomplishing report forms provided for this stage of inspection.
• To assist QA/QC Manager and QA/QC Engineer for the daily activities related to QA/QC functions for the effective implementation of QMS.
• Responsible for inspection of materials at factory / inspecting the test results of raw materials and finished products as per codes and standards and making the reports.
• To conducts inspection and testing of cubes, slump test, stressing, debonding, steam chart at all stages and prepares records.
• To verify records used in factory such as check list, cube crushing reports, stressing reports, pre-pouring report.
• Preparing method of statement and quality control plan.
Responsibility as QA/QC at site
• Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Programme and ensuring incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
• Review all plan drawing with contractors
• Assuring that the work is performed as per the contract specification and approved method of statement..
• Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.
• Assisting Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer such as steel reinforcement checking same as in construction drawing.
• Issue materials receiving report for the delivered materials.
• Following up the concreting works in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test.
• Finishing work checking in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant,
• Preparing daily reports & paperwork for Resident Engineer.
• Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements.
• Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements
• BACHELOR IN TECHNOLOGY IN CIVIL ENGG
Pre degree from St Thomas college kozhencherry.
