Installation & commissioning of newly procured machines. Carry the maintenance & repairs of all hospital equipments with the team of Jr. Engineers.
Keep updating about new equipments & technology in the market and give updates to management about the revenue generating equipments for the hospital.
Provide end user training to reduce the operating problems & breakage incidences.
Maintained records for the purchased equipments as per the JCI standards. The record consists of all the details of the equipment such as purchase order, installation report, preventive maintenance reports, break down reports, history card
Performed routine check-up and pre planned preventive maintenance for all the medical equipments periodically and maintained records
Provide first aid to the breakdowns to minimize the down time and similarly, done the necessary calibrations to ensure the proper functioning of equipments.
Provides Cost analysis / Cost reduction recommendations for purchase department in purchasing the consumables
Monitoring & Analysis of maintenance contracts (AMCs & CMCs) & equipments performance. Carry the Modification/up gradation of machines as per user requirements. Maintaining control over vendors on attending the breakdowns & performing periodic maintenance of the equipments.
Serves as consultant / advisor to hospital administrative, medical and clinical staff with regard to medical technology assessments, pre-purchase evaluations, and vendor service contract.
