System Design, Research and Analysis.
* Assist senior engineers in project research, design and integration such as drawing of
schematic diagram, cabling diagram, network design, equipment rack layout etc. of Satellite
Uplink System.
* Research, identify and evaluate equipment and accessories necessary for project integration
like cables, waveguides, connector etc.
* Evaluate and test newly acquired electronics equipment to make sure it meets the standard
specification.
* Conduct ocular site survey and perform RFI test.
* Provide POC and perform demos to the clients.
* Project Installation
* Conduct and supervise installation, integration as well as commissioning, operation and
maintenance of satellite broadcasting equipment. Ex: (dish antenna, waveguide, RF amplifier,
up-converter, LNB, modulator, receiver
* Perform configuration and testing of electronic units and components using specialized
measurement tools like spectrum analyzer, power meter, etc.
* Recording, analyzing data of test results as well as troubleshooting.
* Supervise manpower on project related civil works such as cable trays/trench, antenna pad
construction, grounding system etc.
* Provide daily progress report of project.
* Terminate and splice cable IFL and power cable layout.
* Design, install and terminate indoor unit at the rack cabinet as well as outdoor devices.
* Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance.
* Diagnose defective equipment and repair up to component level.
* Provide detailed diagnostic report and recommendation of the repaired units.
* Perform periodic check and adjustment to confirm equipment is ready for operation and use.
* Provide detailed report of maintenance activities of SLA.
* Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) Operator.
Mobile Satellite Uplink Operation for live event coverage.
Operation includes:
* Site survey of satellite signal accessibility, interference, area safety, etc.
* Meeting with the clients for details of coverage requirements.
* Prepare and test electronics equipment before deployment.
* Operate and setup transmission equipment from the Satellite Dish, waveguide,
SNG Operator
* Prepare Electronics System for Deployment.
* On site Project Operation Officer
* Perform Testing of the equipments.
* Perform Configuration of Equipments.
* Troubleshooting of problems that may occur during operation process.
* Evaluate new units.
* Project Installation Services
* Supervising man power during installation.
* Project Commissioning.
* System Design, Research and Analysis.
* Assist engineers in project research.
* Drawing of system schematic diagram, cabling diagram, network design
and project layout using Microsoft Visio.
* Provide template of project layout.
* Troubleshooting, Repairs and Maintenance Services
* Diagnosis of defective equipments and repair up to component level.
* Perform On site Diagnosis.
* Provide diagnostic report of the repaired units.
* Perform periodic checks and adjustments to confirm equipments are ready
for operations and use.
* Assist Client on technical problems.
Adept knowledge in Satellite Uplink Transmission RF chain from modulator up to antenna dish.
* Experience in configuration and operation of Vertex Antenna Control System devices like
7200/7134 ACU, Digital Tracking Receiver, LNA Switch Controller, and Drive Cabinet.
* Experience in handling, operating as well as calibration of high and medium rf amplifiers and
BUC’s of various brands such as:
1. Advantech SSPB (200W, 300W, 400W) C-band
2. Advantech AWUB Series ODU Upconverter
