I worked as a trainee for a 2 month period in AXA Oman which gave me an insight into the Corporate world. I started my internship with keeping a log of and handing over Policy documents and endorsements to customers and brokers and making simple additions and deletions of members form various group policies.
However, appreciating my working style, I was given direct and full responsibility of
• Communicating the requirements of the Client in the required format.
• Preparing quotations to meet Customer requirements based on feedback from the Pricing department
• Submitting quotes to the Customer or Brokers and provide support to the Sales Team
• Printing and handing over Policy Document, Endorsements and Medical Cards to the Customers or Brokers
as part of the Employee Benefits Team for Life and Health Insurance for Corporates, SME’s and Individuals.
As part of this course, I have covered Actuarial Risk Management (CA1 in 2 parts), Communication (CA3), Life Insurance (ST2), Investment (ST5), Prophet and Financial Modeling. I have received a MERIT and hence exemptions from CA1 and CA3 of the Core Application exams and ST2 and ST5 of the Specialised Technical exams from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
As part of this course, I have covered Survival models, Stochastic Processes, Contingencies, Time series, Statistics for Insurance, Business Economics, Derivatives, Portfolio Theory, Financial Modeling and basic Prophet. I received a DISTINCTION and hence exemptions from CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7 and CT8 of the Core Technical exams from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
I took Mathematics, Statistics and Economics as part of this course and majored in Statistics. Received a FIRST CLASS with 90.875%
I completed the 12th Grade exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Economics. Received 94% overall
