Change management process lead
•Reporting to the General Manager and managing both the Burger King and Texas Chicken brands, involving organisational planning and system improvement
•Managing the recruitment and selection process to build talented and service-driven retail teams to drive customer satisfaction levels and improve profitability
•Delivering classroom-based training programs to increase the performance of retail teams, including techniques in store management and customer service
•Creating operational excellence by implementing key performance metrics and conducting regular staff appraisals on a one-to-one or group basis
•Performing the role of HR Leader to proactively identify any employee relations issues or non-compliance with industry-led regulatory requirements
•Designing and introducing policies and documentation relating to HR, including training manuals in health & safety, service delivery and compliance
Key achievements:
•Restructured Burger King and Texas Chicken restaurants and field teams in the UAE and Oman, creating a more productive, trained and developed framework
•Realised significant improvements in the foundations and profitability of the company and future growth of the brands, achieving $70m turnover with 1500 employees across 75 restaurants
•Implemented a company-wide committee facility, employee and community communication programme and successfully managed employee relations
