Technical Support for EMC Storage Solution
To ensure effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, hardware and software and related infrastructure and to provide need-based on-call support to users.
To effectively run the support areas of Finance, HR, IT and Administration by planning, organizing, and closely monitoring these functions and ensuring that the Company meets its Financial and compliance obligations towards all the stakeholders.
Conduct training and familiarization sessions for staff the computer network as required as well as provide advice on hardware and software upgrades
Maintain and track inventory of equipment and supplies
o Completes activities and tasks in accordance with the established procedures and practices to achieve agreed OLAs.
o Actively monitor performance dashboards and event queues
o Ensures events and requests are assessed correctly and that appropriate escalation takes place.
o Recommends strategies and team knowledge Sharing
o Prioritizes and manages Service request backlog
o Investigates and resolves or escalates events and incidents to the respective Teams Xmatters
o Communicate incident status to ITOC Manager
o Configuration of monitoring tools Service now, Splunk, Nagios, Solar winds,
o Support company programs and ensure adherence to company rules procedures
o Evaluates events and incidents and assesses initial impact and urgency
o Interface with stakeholders and technical resource personnel in a professional manner
