1. ROLE OBJECTIVE
• Manage Release Management functions to ensure the software products are conforming user-requirements, the
software quality standards, and the bank’s policy and procedures.
• Lead Release Management team toward achieving the ITD’s and bank’s goals and objectives
• Maintain Release Management policy and change management procedures.
• Promote the application of software quality management practices within all IT processes.
• Assists IT Business relations, IT Governance and IT Operations Manager conducting his/her responsibilities
Management Information System Analysis / Operation Division - Program Management Office
▪ Assist Business users in defining & documenting their initiatives.
▪ Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functions and tasks used by the Project
Manager.
▪ Undertake gap analysis of specific business requirements against package solutions.
▪ Perform design, testing and rollout activities and coordinate activities amongst Business users, ITD and 3rd party
vendors.
▪ Assist the Project Manager and support the Change Control Process for the Project.
▪ Assist the Project Manager and support the QA Review and Sign-off process for the Project.
▪ Provide assistance with user training and documentation activities.
▪ Communicate project status on key project activities including schedule, scope, work progress, and major issues &
risks.
▪ Undertake ad hoc business analysis to improve systems or processes.
▪ Apply troubleshooting techniques to solve application problems.
▪ Maintain and upgrade former applications as required by the Business user.
▪ Provide technical and user documentation for all new applications and development completed.
▪ Provide handover documentation to IT Security and IT Helpdesk on completion of activities.
▪ Provide additional support to IT Helpdesk on developed applications as required.
Management Information System Analysis and Design / Information Technology Department
▪ Planning, analysis, and implementation of solutions in support of business objectives, application design, systems
analysis, and full lifecycle project management.
▪ Test, debug and implement computer programs using all Microsoft software programs (Visual Studio dot NET,
Visual Studio 6, SQL Server, Microsoft Office), Oracle Database 10G and Oracle Developer KIT.
▪ Write user specifications, user manuals, and technical manuals that will help users/ technical to work smoothly with
the application.
▪ Provide training for the users in order to work smoothly with the developed application.
▪ Performed troubleshooting technique to solve application problems.
▪ Maintain and upgrade former applications.
▪ Setting up security levels for the database applications with accordance with the bank’s security policy.
▪ Working mainly on database projects involving network applications (Client - Server).
Management Information System Analysis and Design / Information Technology Department
▪ Write requirement specification for computer programs.
▪ Analyze database and develop application.
▪ Test and implement computer programs for various bank’s departments upon requested.
To control department (sold / managed) debts database by building programs and developing applications.
▪ Providing reports to the Central Bank of Kuwait for the monthly status of the managed sold debts, monthly
collateral values, semiannual government reports and annual settled installments from the department database.
▪ Updating and verifying the Central Bank online system compared with the National Bank sold debt database.
▪ Maintaining and updating collaterals system, collecting of cash dividends, bonus shares, liquidation of assets and
follow up with collateral maturity for renewal.
To control bank’s fixed assets.
▪ Data processing for the purchases and stock taken.
▪ Preparing purchase orders for the bank’s departments.
▪ Semiannual stock taken of the store in order to compare it with the bank’s record. Maintaining and updating
collaterals system, collecting of cash dividends, bonus shares, liquidation of assets and follow up with collateral
maturity for renewal.
