Rotana Resort is a 5 Star deluxe hotel with 400 luxurious rooms and 09 Food and Beverage outlets located in Salalah - Oman.

Nature of Work:
Reviewing the daily revenue reports.
Reviewing the credit card, city ledger transactions and forward them to the Credit
Department.
Reviewing the PM summary, High guest balances, Room Discrepancy report, Rebate Summary, Rate variance report and other summaries prepared by day auditors.
Review no shows and late cancellations for the day.
Verify micros Netvupoint reports and investigate Re-open checks, reprinted checks, split checks, table transfers etc.
Preparing the Revenue Journal voucher for daily transactions.
Preparing Daily General Cashier report.
Posting daily statistics to Sun systems.
Maintain serial control for receipts and other revenue vouchers.
Review foreign currency exchange rates daily.
Prepare action plan and memorandum for special promotions, major functions etc.
Prepare and review rooms and banquet forecasts - daily, weekly and monthly.
Emphasizing new ideas with regards to Control procedures to reduce frauds in the hotel.
Handling cash bars during large Banqueting functions.
Supervising Day Auditors and Outlet cashiers.
Conducting spot checks in Front office and Outlets.
Revenue audit for other revenue centers like Telecommunication, Laundry, Recreation, Business Centre, Rental & Other Income etc.
Preparing month end Revenue financial statements with Tax and Service charge reconciliation.
Prepare accrual summaries for month end.
Check and approve various travel agent commissions including on line agents.
Assist in preparation of Revenue budgets.
Prepare and compile various reports for Director of Finance.
