Overview of Role
As the Head of the finance & administration department, I was directly reporting to the Group CFO and responsible for the planning, formulation and implementation of business and financial strategies for the whole group of companies.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop evaluate/ review purchasing strategy, based on organizational policies.
Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.
Strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers.
Analyze the costing of existing products periodically, Carryout costing for new products.
Providing of Management Information.
Ensuring budgets are prepared in line with the Company’s commercial strategic objectives.
Assist the Human Resource functions as a Line Manager.
Organize and carry out year-end audit as per the deadlines.
Overlooking the company’s commercial division.
Overlooking and controlling of payments and ensure adequate internal controls are in process and implementation.

Responsibilities
Providing tax planning and consultancy work.
Monitoring Government Fiscal Policy changes.
Heading internal and external audit teams.
Independent evaluation of the client’s internal control systems and suggesting developments.
Conducting special investigations upon the client’s requests.
Fulfilling client’s MIS requirements.
Management accounting works including feasibility reports, cash flow projections, budgeting and investment appraisals.
Overview of Role
Responsible for the Financial Accounting function where supervising the transactions in the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & General ledger and finalization of accounts as per the service level agreements for Group (The Company consist of 25+ subsidiaries).
Responsibilities
Presenting accounting issues and results to senior executive committees and upper management.
Managing the entire AP, AP & GL cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
Provide Monthly & Quarterly management accounts to the senior level.
Coordinating and liaising with Internal & External Auditors.
Coordinating with Foreign client and negotiating on target achievement on SLAs.
Troubleshooting issues that emerge during the operation. (AP/AR/GL)
