Currently assigned as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at the New flydubai Head Quarters project.
Key responsibilities are:
• Preparation of monthly interim payment applications including necessary supporting documents;
• Change management including identification and notification of changes, preparation of variation cost proposals including BOQs, measurement sheets and compiling other supporting documents;
• Preparation of monthly project cost reports and forecasts (including manpower analysis, equipment analysis, material analysis for future works, identification and recording project risks and opportunities etc.);
• Quantification of material for procurement purposes and reconciliation in line with the project allowances;
• Drafting contractual correspondences in relation to various day to day commercial and contractual matters;
• Subcontract package management including;
▪ Compiling documentation for procurement of various domestic subcontract packages;
▪ Reviewing of interim payment applications and preparing interim payment certificates;
▪ Reviewing and finalizing of subcontract variation proposals;
▪ Contractual letter writing;
▪ Preparing final accounts and certificates.

Key Responsibilities as a Cost Controller:
• Preparation of job budgets (for baseline cost)
• Preparation of monthly cost control reports (Earn Value management, progress updates, reporting project profit and loss details, etc)
• Preparation of monthly cost forecasts
• Preparation of risks forecasts (reporting on anticipated budget risks)
• Resources reconciliation and status reporting to site management
