• Project Coordination, Production Planning and execution, Contract Management and troubleshooting Interfacing at internally and externally.
At Essar, major contribution / achievements in various functions like:
• Preparation, Monitoring and controlling the Budget ( over Rs. 2450 Cr.)
• Projecting monthly Cash Flow and follow up for other financial requirement of project.
• Projecting the area of concerns and highlighting the project progress in Management Information Report (MIS) pertaining the SMP ConArc and CSP area.
• Effect, Analysis and Forecast of the disturbed project activities
• Contract management of OEM viz. SMS Siemag, Tenova, SMS Mevac, Cimprogetti, HXSS, CFMCC, Shoujia, PraxAir, THI, EPIL etc.
• Pivoted role played for getting more than 75000 MT of Building and Technological Structures at site as per Erection team requirement from various Indian and Overseas vendors by Coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers, Logistics and Construction team.
• Successfully Refurbished, Erected and commissioned Fast Exchange Vessel RhTOB received from INI Korea.
• Co-ordination between various intra department and contactors, purchase, customs, finance and consultants.
• After completion of the Project in year 2012, since then looking after Mechanical Maintenance of SMP Furnace, FES, RH Degasser, De-sulphrisation Plant (HMPS), Hot Metal Granulation Plant, and Material Handling.
• Lots of Power saving projects executed and saved crores of Rupees, during year 2012 to 2015. E.g Hiring cost of HED equipment reduced by 40 %, Rs. 5 / Ton of steel production reduced by implementing logic to FES ID fan, Utilities energy cost reduced 25 % in HMPS and FES by optimizing the parameters.
• Brown field major challenging Debottlenecking projects completed like enhancement of furnace combustion chamber size, Modification of Fume Exhaust Elbow for slag jam removal, Changing of 3.6 MW ID fan Impeller, Modification of Raw dust Primary booster fans, Modification of Inclined dust conveyor, Modification of Jib Crane.
Major Brown Field Projects completed:
• Installation of 85 TPH Slab Reheating Furnace State of the Art Walking Beam Mechanism
• Installation of Twin drive 6000 HP in parallel reversible motor on Universal Roughing Mill.
• Installation of Twin drive 7000 HP in tandem reversible motor at Steckel Mill.
• Installation of new Vertical Edger with the quick roll changing facility.
• Installation of 1500 mm wide HR Slitting Line.
• Installation of 11 m long Slab Blade Steel Annealing Furnaces.
• Installation of Stainless Steel Plate Pickling Line (Indigenously designed fabricated and commissioned)
• Installation of 5 nos of EOT, 1 no Semi Gantry, 1 no. Gantry and 1no. Grab Crane (Max. capacity 100T)
• Fabrication and Erection of 1000 T Building Structure.
• Strengthening of 400 m long Hot Rolling Mill shed in situ.
