• Creation of the backpacker’s business systems and control from vision statement to actual implementation and evaluation of the strategies employed. I assisted in the creation of the brand and its policies.
• I created business plans for continual analysis and forecasting which assisted to give guidance as to where the business was and how it would get to where its mission stipulates. The business plans were also used as tool in the proposition for loan financing of several of the business’ activities.
• Costing of products; such as meals, services; such as tours, various types of accommodation, as well as job costing; which I personally assisted my senior in his specialist contracting company.
• Management accounts, from the book keeping aspect to the analysis of the accounts and data, to reporting and adjustment of necessary variances. In addition to this, I worked hand in hand with two independent, qualified public accountants in reconciling the accounts which I later managed.
• I did the local stocking, and purchasing of the firms stock.
• Took full responsibility of debt and credit control, from collection to payouts and adjusting reconciliation and the appropriate important ledger accounts, as well as continually trying to improve the departmental processes and procedures. Negotiations with suppliers and customers.

• Organizing company management as well as ledger accounts, working with Turbo cash and Pastel.
