As a Mechanical QC Engineer, I ensure automotive components meet industry standards and customer specifications. I monitor quality KPIs including scrap rates, rework, and PPM to drive improvements. I ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) like TS16949 and ISO9001. My role involves conducting inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and products, ensuring compliance with specifications. I inspect for defects such as cracks, dents, and inclusions, and examine critical features like hole positions, bore diameter, thread depth, and run-out. I perform Dye Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Testing (both fluorescent and non-fluorescent). I collaborate with teams to implement product changes, segregate defective products, and monitor defective databases. Skilled in engineering drawings and GD&T, I ensure all products meet required quality standards, documenting and reporting outcomes to management.
