DRC COC trainer for all DRC stuff in the North.
Investigator conducts an investigation for DRC cases that are referred by the COC
committee ( conduct all interviews with RP, Subject, and potential witnesses ) and reports
the results to the authorized officer.
• Technically supervise case management and PSS field staff in Irbid and Mafraq bases.
Coaching and supervision of all protection activities ( PSS, MHPSS, CM, Legal).
• Develop activity and work plans for protection activities.
• Support the Base Managers in preparing procurement plans for protection activities
following the budget and work plan for the base.
• Work closely with the Livelihoods Team Lead to ensure effective integration of protection
and livelihoods programming.
• Support the Protection Technical Unit in providing capacity building, as requested, and

Protection main stream focal point in North, • Ensure key protection elements, standards,
and mandates are being considered and implemented throughout the base
• Coordinate with the MEAL department to ensure monitoring and evaluation tools are
being effectively implemented and provide guidance to the field teams on carrying out
M&E activities.
• Work closely with key external stakeholders in the base, including maintaining and
creating strong referral pathways.
• Provide technical input to performance evaluations for protection field staff.
DRC stakeholder with CBO partners, by provide them with all support needed in planning,
implementation, supervision and coaching
Create and/or maintain a network of local CBOs, community focal points to be consulted
for beneficiary identification and community information
Encourage local leaders and networks to reach out and disseminate the available
information and collect needs
Create and/or maintain relationships with stakeholders working in partnership with DRC
and support in development of their capacity and creation of learning groups
Develop work plans with DRC partners (CSOs, CBOs and others) and monitor
implementation of projects on a regular basis through field visits
Assist in identifying technical and institutional capacity building needs for partners and
organize appropriate trainings to improve their programmatic effectiveness and
efficiency;
Attend and represent DRC in external meetings
Coordinate with external agencies to facilitate and support project implementation in and
out of DRC Centres
Assist in the regular collection of information regarding beneficiary and community needs
to feed in assessments and reports
Manage, support and build the capacity of the Outreach field team(s)
Regularly perform shadow visits of field outreach teams to ensure all activities are
consistent with SoPs and guidelines
Support and lead on projects that include partnership components
Maintain a network of private sector actors to be consulted for beneficiary job seekers
and job owners identification
Facilitate community discussions about priority needs, possible solutions and coping
mechanisms
Work closely with Partnerships Coordinator in rolling out partnership strategy with East
Amman partners
Assist in the enforcement of HAP Principles of Accountability
Ensure the application of DRC Code of Conduct and DRC Policies and Procedures
Work closely with the Protection Team Leader in the design of project activities
Facilitate support groups, community awareness sessions, and other project activities
Organize day-to-day time management and work related to center-based activities and
outreach activities (incl. development of weekly schedule and staff work plan);
Receive referrals from different agencies and local actors and provide feedback of actions
taken;
Collaborate closely with the Livelihood Officer on project activities- developing beneficiary
criteria and ensuring protection is mainstreamed into all livelihood activities
Ensure Protection components are on track, including the development of new materials
for awareness raising in coordination with the line manager
Liaise with partners and communities on areas for Protection interventions - including
liaison with communities on mobile activities;
Assist the Protection Team Leader in administrative matters related to GBV activities
Assist the Protection Team Leader in reporting of activities regarding OCHA/ Protection
activities;
Write field visit reports on major findings, needs and problems faced;
Contribute to the overall protection/CS weekly/monthly report underlining protection
issues and related trends and figures in coordination with the Protection Team Leader
Work closely with the MEAL officer to implement MEAL components of the project
Propose new activities according to identified needs and suggest solutions for problems
encountered with activities;
Maintain and update database on Protection/ OCHA activities (incl. monitoring data entry
on Activity info)
Coordinate closely with GBV partners in the camp to facilitate cross-programming, and
ensure proper access to referral pathways
Participate in the GBV working Group and other groups established for coordination of
GBV activities and interventions.
Receive cases referred by other TDH departments, local partners and agencies as per the
Inter agency Emergency Standard Operational Procedures for Prevention of and Response
to Gender Based Violence and Child Protection in Jordan (SOPs).
Create a family file for each case received and file all cases according to specified criteria.
Prioritize cases according to risk level and based on TDH vulnerability criteria;
Conduct regular contacts/home visits of the selected beneficiaries to follow up on the
agreed work plan and its progress and facilitate the good implementation of the work
plan.
Regularly monitor and support children and families through home visits, providing
guidance, advice and emotional support, community mediation and referrals.
Ensure children receive multidisciplinary support.
Organize internal assistance delivery following defined work plan, procedures and
mechanisms.
Be part of Case managers mapping to provide the families with all services in his area.
Participate in monthly meetings, external meeting (coordination or referral
meeting), weekly case-management meetings, monthly meetings with the parents and
organizing community events about child protection issues.
Prepare regular reports on families supported and or referred
Collect and provide any other qualitative and quantitative data requested by the CMS and
proceed with data entry on a daily basis.
Prepare (training materials, training tools, organization of training, follow up, etc.) and
conduct training/ coaching according to the training needs identified.
Participate when needed in project assessments: surveys, data collection, filling
questionnaires and forms, data entry, conducting interviews, FGD, etc.
