Pre Contract Duties & Responsibilities
Taking quantities from received drawings and Preparing BOQ Following POMI method of measurement or if BOQ provided confirming BOQ quantities with drawings and identifying the extra works if any. Responding to invitation of Tenders with the concern of Management and collecting the documents. Receiving pre contract documents from client or consultant and understanding the nature of work. Rate analyzing with the assistance of senior QS and updating the price on BOQ. Preparing Comparison reports for the Quotations. Tender Submissions (Tender bound. Final offer subject to confirmation of the management, Tender programs & etc.)
• Check and review of Contract Agreements.
Post Contract Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing monthly interim payment application. Negotiate & follow with client to get timely certification of interim application with in the period stipulated by the contract. Preparation of Variations including finding the supporting documents. Provide feedback to subcontractors on changes or variations to ensure accurate documentation and application to future components builds. Negotiate discounts and rebates, payment terms (Cash / Credit). Verifying invoices and forwarding for the payment. Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals. Arranging Commercial Meeting & Preparation of minutes of meetings and Contractual correspondence.
