and Assistant field supervisor Condensate Refinery Jan 2015 to Date
Laffan Refinery Condensate Fractionation Unit is designed to process 146 000 BPSD (730.8 t/h).
LPG + Naphtha 320.8 t/h
Kerojet 276.9 t/h
Light Gas Oil 112.8 t/h
Heavy Gas Oil 22.0 t/h
Responsibilities (Project Phase)
To check equipment’s installation as per plot plan, update status for management and report any defect of equipment.
Preparing daily and weekly report of the Unit.
PID and PFD review and raise comments.
Review Operating manuals.
Routine Field Inspection witness activates.
Reviewing of Sub system files completion in cooperation with mechanical, electrical and instrument department and presenting to HOD.
Final reinstatements walk through, and final walk through of the sub systems and raising punches and close out of punches with contractor.
Maintaining record of Close out punches using SAP system.
Responsibilities during Operation Phase
Troubleshooting of the unit. (NHT and Saturation Gas Plant)
To perform unit round and report any abnormality of the system.
Monitor closely the performance of the plant equipment and highlights issues proactively so as to avoid breakdown of the equipment and minimize the down time.
Hand over equipment to maintenance team.
Practical experience to drain, purge out and oxygen freeing of the system as per standard procedure.
Electrical isolation of the motor operated equipment.
Availability of utilities in the plant at required pressure and temperature.
Routine check of furnace.
Perform recurring duties (COSSH Cabinet, alarm system, Utility station checks, column, vessel, pump checks)
Working on continuous improvement related to safety of the equipment.
