* Assists and coordinate with the resident and senior electrical engineer for the management and supervision of the electrical
aspect of the project.
* Maintain the comprehensive awareness of all the project particulars and requirement (B.O.Q., Shop Drawings,
Specifications, Q.C.S. and others).
* Assists my senior electrical engineer in review shop drawings submitted by the contractor prior to the implementation at
site.
* Maintain a good understanding of the project priorities and programs.
* Responsible for the accuracy of the work for electrical transmission distribution, primary protection of lighting and power,
fire alarm and voice evacuation and paging system, public address system, IP telephone/data system, emergency lighting
system, structured cabling, earth and lightning protection system.
* Issues Non Compliance Report (NCR) and Job Site Instruction (JSI) when necessary.
* Records all significant events and relevant issue affecting, process of the works and coordinate with the senior electrical
engineer responsible.
* Ensures that quality related documentation required to implement the site quality system provides a complete and accurate
and legible record of activities.
* Carry-out regular inspection for all electrical permanent works for specifications and drawing compliance.
* Maintain records of inspection request and other work related documents at site at all times.
* Verify all calibration certificates of equipment and instruments used at site.
* Assist in certifying the permanent works, including delivered materials, in order to verify conformance with the contract
quality requirements including testing and commissioning.
* Ensures incoming quality of received materials and confirm the approved material submittals.
* Responsible for the accuracy of the work for electrical transmission distribution, primary protection of lighting and power,

* Review electrical plan for pre and post contract stage.
* Study carefully all tender documents such as drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantity (B.O.Q.).
* Prepare quantity take-off based on tender drawings and make draft comparison sheet report showing the variances between
the drawings, Bill of Quantities, specifications and handed it to estimate section for them to coordinate with the consultant.
* Prepare request for information if found some discrepancies of the drawing which is not clear that need more some
information.
* Check the tender documents & construction drawings. Make and submit report to the Manager of Estimate Section regarding
any noted discrepancies.
* Prepare electrical bill of quantity (B.O.Q.) showing the required quantities based on the shop drawings and handed to the
technical Quantity Surveyor (Q.S.).
* Coordinate with the project manager to solve and resolve any technical difficulties at site.
* Responsible in preparing electrical material submittal logs and inspection requests.

* Check the quantities of materials stored at site and monitor the rate of usage in everyday work.
* Check and monitor the project daily activities, site manpower resources, plant and equipment on the site required.
* Carry-out regular inspection requests and other work related documents at site at all times.
* Maintains awareness of the project electrical specifications, drawings, design criteria in relation to standard codes and
practices.
* Assists in administering safety programs at site. Issue instructions as necessary to correct any safety violation.
* Coordinate works with relevant discipline to ensure the compatibility throughout the construction.
* Witness the required “insulation resistance test of wires and cables pulled and installed by the contractor and records all
the data, observations and report to my direct superior.
