Review and approve submittals and coordination related to architectural design drawings and issues; Monitor activities of the project and ensure compliance to all design, specifications contract terms and conditions, and time schedule; Oversees and review the performance of the contractor and sub-contractors, to ensure the execution of the works according to their contractual obligations, standard and quality; Attend to site and owner coordination meeting; Review and approve architectural finishing shop drawings submitted by the contractor; Review and approve material submitted by the contractor; Check all works at site and coordinate and the same time with related services; Review and approve composite drawings; Review and approve as-built drawings; Review Contractor’s payment certificate; Provide recommendations in any site, drawings and designs issues; Prepare/Submit progress regarding the work status / quality and issues at site; Testing, Balancing and Commissioning.
• Reports directly to QA/QC Manager.
• Responsible to implement and monitor the QA/QC Program.
• Review and comments on Sub-Contractor Quality Plans.
• Assist the Lead QC Architect for all duties related to architectural tasks, and projects relevant tasks.
• Review and Ensure that IRF (Inspection Request) raised, submitted from construction responsible parties were ready for inspection prior accepted/accepted with comments through ACONEX System.
• Assuring documentation is recorded, maintained, distributed and retained.
• Coordinate all inspection and test requirements of the project at the required stages of the process.
• Ensure work execution is performed according to current and approved quality plan / ITP / Method Statement requirements and contract specification.
• Retention of quality records/document required as evidence to demonstrate compliance.
• Maintain calibration records for Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment used in the Project.
• Liaise on-site with sub-contractors for the day to day implementation of Quality related activities of the Project.
• Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports.
• Prepare site exception item list for contractor to comply prior with acceptance of mechanical & electrical completion.
• Review and approve vendor inspection and test/quality plans.
• Carry out regular site inspection and supervision for earthworks, bored pilings, conc. column, substructure, superstructure, underground utilities, Access/Diversion roads, Paving, Excavation, Backfilling, Compaction and Testing, Site Grading/Leveling and Structural works.
• Make sure the work has been carried out in compliance of the specification.
• Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, compliance with shop drawings and report to Senior QA/QC Engineer / QA/QC Manager.
• Closely monitor concrete pours and check continuously concrete materials delivered to site, ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, and ensure all concrete tests are carried out as per contract agreement.
• Make sure that the contractor personnel are using the latest edition of the approved shop drawings, MS, QCP and ITP as per the project master index.
• Frequently check formwork/shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety and constructability aspects are met.
• Review the Close-out Report as submitted by TPI/Contractor.
• Perform “Hold” “Witness” “Surveillance” and “Review” inspection and tests at construction sites to ensure compliance requirements and project specifications.
• Check/verify the materials certificate from the supplier base on approved specifications/standards by the clients.
• Strictly implement company rules and monitor contractors / sub-contractor’s procedures and practices for health and safety as per client’s HSE requirements.
• Write daily/weekly inspection reports and initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs) & Corrective action report (CAR’s) as needed.
• Closely attend walk through inspection and promote zero Punch List.

• Handle the inspection for Crack’s at all concrete structures specially in Dry Dock Wall & Raft Foundation, Quay Wall, Pump House, Sill 1 & Sill 2 and Substation’s location.
• Perform pre-inspection evaluation of construction activities covering base foundation preparation, formworks installation, steel reinforcement and embedded items settings.
• Prepare Inspection checklist every after inspection is being carried out.
• Ensure through on-going surveillance that the Construction are following the latest and accepted drawings, specifications, procedures, and other documentation for work execution.
• Responsible for preparation of Design and Shop Drawings requirements which includes; Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary and As-Built plans.
• Responsible for Project Site Monitoring, Inspection, Technical Specifications, Progress Report and Daily Manpower Activities.
