Job Profile: Design & Estimation Engineer:-
§ Design and Estimation preparation of drawing of all kind of LV Switchgear as per Local, ADDC,
AADC, DEWA, FEWA, SEWA, KAHRAMAA), International and oil field standards.
§ Estimation and preparation of quotation for new projects.
§ Checking the drawings in line with the specification and estimation.
§ Attending technical clarification meeting with client and consultants.
§ Planning of activities in site and liaising with clients and contractors.
§ Submitting the inspections requests to the consultants for approval.
§ Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members.
§ Co-ordinate with client, consultant and subcontractor for site inspection.
§ Co-ordinate engineering departments on all aspects during the development of works
and confirming the design with requirements
§ Preparing quotation for Electrical works
§ Review Shop drawings, Material submissions & Technical design calculations as per the
requirement in Contract drawings, BOQ & Technical specification and get approval
from the Consultants and Statutory authorities.
§ Carry out technical assignment for material and equipments being procured to the
company.
§ Scheduling & planning the work according to Site clearance and work front.
§ Managing the site as well as interacting with Another Contractor, Consultant, and
Client etc…
§ Keeping close watch on various activities of Project (like delivery of materials, site
clearance, duration of activities etc.) and updating the Project Manager on any Risk
foreseen for project completion and providing suggestions
§ Conduct detailed engineering drawing reviews and follow up with construction
contractor’s progress to monitor that construction progress is aligned with technical
drawings.
§ Preparing the variation statement for the project as per the additional work executed.
§ Manage and co-ordinate the collation of a complete set of documentation relating to
the project and hand over to the Employer/consultant.
§ Manage and co-ordinate the collection, review and distribution of As Built drawings and
Operations & Maintenance Manuals
