Hemisphere Operations & Head of Operations- Kuwait.
Deliver active functional support and exceptional support service and assistance to three functional oil
rigs, yard and offices in Kuwait. Fostered congenial relationship with business unit leaders, local and
regional HR Services team for evaluating and elevating the HR’s service delivery and defined SLA’s and
KPI’s.
* Leverage impeccable HR support in planning strategic areas of workforce, advancement, staffing
for senior posts and talent management.
* Deliver the significant HR elements, including recruitment, on boarding, induction and staff
development resulting in achievement of safeguarding corporate interest.
* Steer the development programme aimed at training management regarding planning for high
potentials and actions to improve low performers.
* Enforce strict adherence and maintenance of HR procedures as well as deploy corporate C&B
initiatives.
Personnel recruitment, onboarding, transfers, lay off and settlement of disputes for Nabors and
Canrig (A sister concern of Nabors) employees.
Conduct Orientations to foster positive attitude towards organizational objectives
Provide efficient HR support for all the employees, liaise with internal departments to exchange
information, coordinate activities and promptly resolve issues and concerns.

Provide HR support to other areas like Saudi, Kuwait and Oman as per requirement
Recommend and implement HR policies, procedures and programs as necessary.
Perform the procedure for hiring of employees in coordination of the concerned department and
carry out interviews in conjunction with respective departmental managers.
Manage Benefit programs for all employees and ensure all employees are enrolled on a timely
manner.
Manage International / Domestic relocation s as per Nabors Relocation Policy.
Serve as a link between management by handling questions, solving problems, Interpreting and
administering contracts, and help resolve work related problems to foster positive environment
at workplace.
Manage and resolve conflicts and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Liaise with departments and conduct Performance improvement plan and disciplinary actions
when necessary.
Ensure that all personnel files are maintained online in compliance with Nabors HR Policy and
procedures.
Managing payroll and coordinate with Payroll department to ensure payroll accuracy.
Maintain lease records, coordinate with expats and help them relocate smoothly and in
compliance with Nabors/ Canrig residency guidelines.
Understand and support Area Management System policies and procedures relating to Human
Resources function.
Administer all Change of Status records. (COS)
Responsible for data integrity of personnel information, and data entry into the HRIS system
(Oracle).
Serve warning letters/penalties against employees in line to NDIL/ Canrig /Ministry/Gov.
Regulations.
Serve termination notices and ensure all terminations are carried out in line with AMS procedures
To coordinate with Houston HR department for any official and personnel department needs.
Coordinate with legal department for employment and any other contracts to be reviewed and
approved.
Key Achievements:
Successfully completed integration of Tesco after acquisition in 2018.
Successfully achieved audit compliance for HR Department, Nabors Dubai office during internal
audit for year 2012 and all the following years.
UAE Performance appraisal was completed in full compliance and in a timely manner for the new
Appraisal programme and Competency Assessment in 2014.
Payroll project for implementing UAE online payroll system was successfully completed in 2013.
Cost saving of 6% for insurance renewal for 10% for real estate contracts renewals.
Manage HR requirements for four rigs including one offshore rig in Qatar, two rigs in Kuwait and
one in Saudi Arabia.
Coordinate with various Drilling / Snubbing projects in different locations - organized crew
planner and crew schedule for various projects as per contract.

Source resumes from job portals and recruitment agencies, conduct interviews and shortlist
candidates.
Prepare employee contracts, administered payroll, employee benefits package & grievances.
Liaised with the company's senior management to determine their human resources
requirements.
