Lead & shaping Strategic Plan for the future development & requirements.
Preparation of the annual financial budget & control projects expenditure.
Responsible for providing business direction into product developments & deliver value for profit growth.
Develop a Master Plan for the Projects by Integrating all the relevant information for each project, including but not limited to, resources, schedule, and current status and maintaining the Database by updating the data on a regular basis.
Fully responsible to provide technical direction and leadership to key functions - focused on ensuring the design, development and implementation of projects that form part of the business project portfolio in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
Prepare Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works, Specifications and all contract documentation, . Manage associated contractual issues
Fully responsibility and accountability, covering Projects and Construction Management of all aspects of Design, Construction and Coordination projects and tasks of all aspects of the building and infrastructure construction works, during the execution stages of contracts and contract packages for Special Projects, covering architectural, civil / structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, telecom, IT, building management, infrastructure works, commissioning and end user acceptance.
Preparation of the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues.
Manage the overall performance third party consultants of the project ensuring that their performance is reviewed in a timely. manner and reported.
Ensuring proper investments in debt, equity, preferential and strategic investment & business opportunities.
Review of the final tender documents include BOQ and the tender issue process. Respond to tender queries as needed, and manage and prepare the technical tender evaluation and participate in the negotiation and award.
Prepare and compile the Technical & Commercial Tender Evaluation Reports
Participate in the validation of the Design basis, area utilization, building facilities, concepts, outline schedules, , techno-economic studies, and construction completion and procurement strategies.
Review, evaluate and approve various method statements & shop drawings during construction phase.
Review and validate BOQ, valuing completed work and arrange payments.
Undertake the development of Scope of Work (SOW), specifications and design criteria for facilities and infrastructure
Initiate and Manage the Contractual Work Change Requests and Variations to Contract from initiation to approval, including reviews of scopes and specifications
Identify colleagues within the department that have potential for further development and progression within the Company, creating development and succession plans for the talent pool
Responsible for outlining new approaches and business models to develop the business.
