Sales Engineer:
Worked as Sales Executive for 4 years in Valves & OCTG Section. Full time position reporting to the Sales Manager / General Manager directly, the job requires a mix of fieldwork as well as office work & being a part of a team of 5 sales representatives, I was responsible for:
Gathering data and getting orders from Eastern province organization like Aramco, Saudi Cement Co., Saudi Electric Company, Lukoil Saudi Aramco (LUKSAR), JV of Repsol & Aramco, Saudi Sino Gas and all local contracting and trading companies.
The Annual achievement for Valves, OCTG was $20mio on 2002;
The sales was increased by 27% ($25.5Mio) on 2003 compared with 2002
And 30% ($33Mio) in 2004
It goes 33% ($44Mio) on 2005
And 38% increased on 2006 respectively.
Due to huge demand of OCTG & high nos. of increasing of Rigs in Saudi Aramco, in 2006 figure was $61mio achieved annually i.e. increased of sales by 128% since 2002~2006.
Principles for above Achievements:
Nippon Steel, Japan: 18-5/8” (115ppf & 87.5ppf) each shipment was more than 50, 000m/t
Baosteel, China: 2-7/8”, 3-1/2”, 4-1/2”
Kitz Valves, Japan & Ring-O-Valves, Italy
My achievements & responsibility:
Developed Neway Suzhou Valves, China and helped Abahsain to form Abahsain-Neway as local manufacturer in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Assist for approval in Saudi Aramco for both plant Neway-Suzhou China & Abahsain-Neway Saudi Arabia. Also developed ECONO Valves, India, approved them with Saudi based operators and secured business accordingly. Assisted Abahsain for studying feasibility for Heat Exchanger business.
Handled Aramco frame agreement for Chemical Catalyst DD431 & Desiccants - get data’s / forecast from Aramco’s Gas plants. And also gets all forecast for OCTG from Aramco.
Detected and report market developments and competition progress to the management. Evaluate and analyze market developments and discuss appropriate courses of action with the management. Contribute in opening new markets by detecting and studying new segments / needs, recommending adjustments to existing products & new products under the management's supervision and guidance
