*****General
•To organize all logistics processes, including purchasing, warehousing, communications and transport, as well as the related administrative procedures, for Company operations.
•To supervise and support all logistic personnel working for Company.
•To implement and monitor logistics systems, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
•To establish and maintain good contacts with local market &suppliers, government offices with regards to logistical matters.
•To report monthly on all logistics activities to the GM/country Logistics Manager.
•To manage all reporting staff.
•To perform any other duties reasonably requested of you by the GM.
****Procurement and storage:
•To manage procurement of items based on authorized requisitions, in line with the Company procedures.
•To liaise closely with the Administrator/Finance Officer/Sales Officer, as well as the GM on procurement.
•To keep records of and maintain contacts with suppliers and local repair/maintenance shops, and to conduct price comparisons among them, in order to get the best deals.
•To oversee all warehouse activities, including systems and procedures for receiving, recording and the issuing of stock. ******Transport and communication:
•To compile monthly vehicle and generator running costs.
•To facilitate the installation and maintenance of communications equipments.
•Supervising and planning vehicle allocation in order to optimally serve the needs of the Company.
•To facilitate the monitoring of the fuel consumption of the Company vehicles and the skills of the drivers.
•To personally follow Company regulations when driving Company vehicle.
*****Personnel:
•To instruct and supervise logistics staff.
•To provide support and training to the logistic team.
******Administration:
•To ensure that the Company logistics systems, procedures and working practices are adhered to.
•To ensure that all transactions/dealing are conducted in an open, fair and honest way so as not to bring the name of the Company into disrepute.
•To ensure that the proper administrative procedures and standards for Supply Request monitoring, ordering, stock keeping and dispatch are followed.
•To keep a proper record of expenditures, receipts, requisitions, purchase order forms, waybills, and all other documents.
Security Management:
•Checking the security situation on daily basis and making analysis on basis of incidents occurs in work sites.
• Generate incidents reports on basis of security incidents and share with GM/Security Manager.
• Participate in monthly security coordination meetings and provide a proper security advises to the staff accordingly.
• Monitor the vehicle movement and advise staff in pre-field trips planning in terms security and safety for safe travels.
• Ensure all safety features are in place in Company office, residence and storage premises like fire extinguishers, fire protection blankets, locking mechanism of main entrances.

- Maintain general office files and keep information and reference in a manner that allows easy retrieval
- Provide translation and interpretation when necessary (Arabic/English)
- Provide general office assistance and handle routine administrative tasks, such as attendance records, mailing record, hotel reservations, flight booking, vehicle booking for staff travel, allocation of duty to drivers and cleaners, maintain office supplies and equipment orders, and the preparation and processing of administrative requests and documents (i.e. travel requests, security clearance, expense claims, vouchers).
- Provide administrative and secretarial support during training courses and workshops and act as interpreter when required.
